Lisa was completely stunned. She thought she could travel back in time to safe Jungkook's grandmother. That the outcome would be different.

Lisa found that fact that she came to the time after the passing of Jungkook's grandmother difficult to accept.

"It's already 8 o'clock and the Young Master hadn't come downstairs for dinner yet," said one of the servants.

"The butler told us to take good care of the Young Master before he left. You should bring his dinner upstairs to him."

"Dinner is already cold. Let me reheat it first."

Having said that, the servant brought the food back to the kitchen.

Lisa recollected herself. Did they just say that Jungkook was upstairs? She had checked the entire second floor and Jungkook was not inside his room.

Lisa's eyes dimmed. She went back upstairs to look for Jungkook again.

Lisa was still not able to locate Jungkook after a long while. She was getting a little worried. Obviously, Jungkook was home somewhere.

Suddenly, Lisa recalled Mother Jeon telling her a while back that the day that Jungkook's grandmother had passed away, Jungkook was lost inside their house. One of the servants finally located him in a remote corner in the garden after a long while.

Lisa quickly turned and headed downstairs. She ran into the rain and toward the back yard.

It was dark at night and, with the pouring rain, it was almost impossible to see the path.

The light in the garden was broken and hadn't been fixed yet. It was pitch black around and there was nothing but the noisy rain.

Everything in front of Lisa was blurred by the rain.

The backyard was covered by dried, fallen leaves. Stepping through the rain, Lisa headed into the dark garden and toward the fake rocks.

"Jungkook." Her voice was drowned by the rain.

She continued to walk into the darkness.

Walking around the fake boulder, Lisa could see Jungkook squatting there in one corner, his head lowered and he looked fragile.

"Jungkook."

Jungkook was drenched from the rain.

The tall young man curled up in a corner like a puppy that had been abandoned. He was pitiful and in distress.

Lisa walked toward him and rain went right through her and beat down on Jungkook. Recalling what the servants were talking about, Lisa felt her heart ached.

Jungkook was sick. This was not his fault.

The passing of the grandmother in and of itself was sad. One should not look at it like any other incident.

Nobody wished to see it happen.

Right now, Jungkook was squatting in the corner in the rain, as though he was punishing himself.

Lisa's throat was dry. She squatted down and placed her hand over Jungkook's.

"Jungkook." She felt cold.

"The rain is very heavy. Come back into the house with me?"

The young man in red looked up and rain rolled down the side of his cheek. Rain was over his brows, the tip of his nose, and even his long eyelashes. He looked at her quietly.

His face was pale and even his lips had no color to them. N had no idea when Jungkook had gone out or how long he had been sitting in the rain.

His pitch-black eyes were wet from the rain and he looked at her blanked.

Lisa felt that she had been stabbed in her heart. The pain was almost unbearable.

"It isn't your fault." Lisa felt that Jungkook had heard some mean words. He may not have wanted that to happen but he still might have caught a little bit here and there.

He wasn't a fool. He, too, had emotions. His illness, however, severed his ties with others and he was locked in a different world.

"You will get sick if you keep sitting in the rain. C'mon back with me." Lisa held his hand tightly. His fingers were ice cold.

Jungkook lowered his head and was reluctant to move.

He was tall and he was a boy. Lisa wasn't all that strong. Had he really been reluctant, Lisa would not have been able to move him.
