Eunha quickly pulled her necklace out from under her shirt. She saw that the crack had deepened so much that the jade was almost split into halves.

The glow from the white jade that was once there was gone. It was dark and didn't look anything like a jade should look.

She held the jade pendant cautiously, worried that any force would shatter it.

Eunha was shocked. She knew that Lisa had taken back almost all of her halo.

What had happened?

Old Mr. Kim inquired again, "Exactly how did you get your hand on the little jade stamp?

Eunha snapped back into reality by Old Mr. Kim's words. Now was not the time to worry about the change on her body. She insisted that, "The little jade stamp belongs to me. I've had it my entire life. It cannot possibly be a fake."

She and her mother had gotten it directly from Lisa.

Unless......

Unless Lisa had given them a fake one!

Eunha almost crushed her teeth from gritting them so hard when she thought about that. No wonder Lisa had produced it so casually. She had set them up.

Had Lisa figured something out?

The more Eunha thought about it, the more worried she became. When did Lisa prepare this fake jade stamp? Lisa was too scary; she had set the trap for her a long time ago and just waiting for her to step into it.

Looking at the little jade stamp that Old Mr. Kim was holding right now, she had no choice but to force herself to say, "My little jade stamp is real, but someone borrowed it from me a while back. I'm sure she was the one how had swapped it out.

Eunha reacted quickly. If Lisa tried to set her up, then she would turn it against her. It was Lisa who had taken her jade stamp and swapped it for a fake one.

That way, even when Lisa produced the real one, she would have already sowed the seed of doubts in Old Mr. Kim.

Old Mr. Kim looked at her sharply, as though he wanted to see right through her.

Eunha's scalp tinkled, and she broke out in cold sweat.

In her plan, Old Mr. Kim was on hid death bed and would be easy to fool. He would see the little jade stamp, got very excited, and immediately want to have a DNA test.

And now, everything was very different than how she had envisioned.

The little jade stamp was fake.

Old Mr. Kim said, "If you don't want to say it, there are ways to make you talk. Are you sure you want to bear the consequences of lying to the Kim family?"

Eunha looked at Old Mr. Kim in shock. His sternness sent chills down her spine. He looked nothing like an old man on his death bed.

Eunha's mouth was bitter and her throat dry. "I'm here to reunite with my family. Since Old Mr. Kim does not wish to reunite with me, please return the little jade stamp back to me and I will take off right away."

The butler stood in front of her.

"Miss, I'm afraid you are not leaving until we have gotten down to the bottom of this."

Yeri couldn't stop laughing. "I told you this woman is a fake. Showing up out of nowhere claiming to be related out of the blue. All she wants is to scam us for our money. When was the last time you've looked into a mirror? Every single person of the Kim's is good looking."

She got progressively more excited as she talked when she saw that Eunha looked more and more upset. "Look at you. We can tell with just one look that you are not a Kim. Even our servants in the garden are better looking than you."

"Miss Kim, please watch yourself." Eunha could crush her teeth. How could she gauge whether she was a Kim from her look? What kind of logic was that?

Eunha knew that her plan had failed and that she would not be getting the little jade stamp back. She didn't even want it back anymore.

She just wanted to leave.
