Old Mr. Kim was already up when Lisa returned to the Kim's. He was sitting inside the living room, sipping tea while waited for his granddaughter to return home.
"You are back. The butler told me that you went out with Yeri?" Old Mr. Kim's expression softened up reflexively when he saw his granddaughter.
"Yes, I did. I have never been to City Nan before. She gave me a tour of the city," said Lisa as she walked over.
"Yeri can be blunt and impulsive sometimes but she is a nice kid. It's okay to spend time with her," said Old Mr. Kim.
Lisa smiled and nodded, "I'll take your words for it, Grandpa."
"I have the others started with the preparation of the banquet already. I will be making the official announcement about your identity in a few days." Old Mr. Kim sighed and said, "You are the only child in our family. From this point forward, no matter what happened, Grandpa will always be there to back you up."
For some inexplicable reasons, Lisa felt her nose tingled.
That night, Lisa returned to her room only after she had dinner with her grandfather.
She bathed and changed early and crawled into bed.
This time Lisa did not choose a pretty dress. Instead, she picked out a set of cozy and comfortable outfit along with a pair of white sneakers.
When she was ready, she summoned Lee Know. "You said 100 little suns this time, right?"
Lee Know hadn't heard from Lisa for a few days and now that it was summoned, it was somewhat emotional. [Yes, Host.] Lisa counted her little safe. She only had 134 little suns remaining. She regretted not kissing Jungkook a few more times when she had the chance.
Lisa gave 100 little suns over to Lee Know. All of a sudden, her safe that was full was now half emptied. She only had 34 little suns remaining, a pathetic amount.
Lisa closed her eyes and waited for the transmigration to take place.
Suddenly, Lee Know said: [Huh? How come the timeline was messed up? No......] Lisa was just about to ask Lee Know about the messed up timeline but she didn't have a chance to say anything before her surroundings changed.
The sky was dark and rain was pouring down.
Lisa looked around and, through the rain, she was able to tell that she was standing inside the Jeon's garden.
The rain went right through her and fell on the ground. Standing in the rain, Lisa did not get a drop on her.
Lisa found it kind of interesting that she didn't need to have an umbrella in this rain and could still remain dry. She started walking toward the house.
It was very bright inside the mansion but the atmosphere was heavy.
Lisa did not see Mother Jeon who loved watching her shows in the living room, nor did she see Father Jeon or the butler. The living room was very quiet and there were only two servants waiting around.
Was everyone in their room or were they all out?
Lisa looked at the clock hanging on the wall. It was 8 o'clock at night and Jungkook should be bathing.
Lisa walked upstairs, arrived outside their room, and walked right through the door.
Jungkook was not inside.
Lisa frowned. How was it that Jungkook wasn't there either? Did he go out with Mother Jeon?
The door to the patio was ajar and rain was blown inside the room by the wind. The curtain next to the opening was wet.
All Lisa could hear was the rain.
She looked around a little. She even climbed inside the closet to check it out. She was certain that Jungkook was nowhere to be seen.
Lisa headed back downstairs.
"Say, do you think Madam will be very upset at Little Young Master after what happened today?"
"It would be difficult even for regular family to accept a child with Little Young Master's condition. He was lucky enough to have Madam who cared for him and loved him all these years. With something like this, I am sure it would always irk Madam."
"Say, Old Madam had an episode right in front of him and he still didn't react to it. If he wasn't ill, even I'd find that awful."
"Little Young Master is quite innocent if you ask me. That's his illness. It's like he lives in his own world. You can hit him or yell at him and he still wouldn't respond to you."
Lisa had just got the living room when she overheard the conversation between the two servants. She was stunned.
From what they were saying, Jungkook's grandmother had an episode and died.
