The resident of the Kim's was located in the middle of the city, but it was in the quiet part of town. The old residence was ancient looking, but the design was delicate and grandeur.
Eunha gauged the surrounding stealthily and became more excitable. This place looked exactly the same as the Kim's residence that she had dreamed about.
She tried her best to calm her breathing and followed behind the butler.
Arriving at the living room, the butler gestured for Eunha to sit there while he informed Old Mr. Kim.
Eunha sat down on the couch politely.
The Jung's, too, was a wealthy family. Albeit the fact that they were not up there with the Jeon's or the Kim's, Mother Jung still had Eunha trained on etiquette and everything else since she was a child. She was very presentable in this way.
Yeri had gone to look for Old Mr. Kim a while ago.
She told Old Mr. Kim, "I'm certain she's a fake. She doesn't resemble the Kim's family members at all."
All the Kim's family members were good looking. Herself, in particular, was the prettiest one in her generation.
That woman was not bad looking but far from a Kim.
What a bummer. She had no idea where this woman came from. If she really was Old Mr. Kim's granddaughter, she would be succeeding all of Old Mr. Kim's fortune!
How could she let that happen!
The way the woman looked just irked her!
"You said the butler had already showed her in?" said Old Mr. Kim slowly.
Yeri nodded. "Yes, I walked fast. I gathered that the woman is downstairs by now."
Sure enough, the butler came to report the incident to Old Mr. Kim as soon as she finished talking.
"She has the little jade stamp?" Nobody knew about the little jade stamp except for the butler.
"Yes, Mr. Kim, I've already shown her to the living room."
"Help me downstairs."
Old Mr. Kim got up shakily while holding onto his cane. The butler hurried up to lend him support. Old Mr. Kim had been seriously ill a little while ago and had become even more fragile.
After a long while, Eunha finally saw Old Mr. Kim who looked exactly the same as he did in her dream.
She was very emotional all over again.
The butler helped Old Mr. Kim to his seat and quickly had someone bring over tea.
Even though Old Mr. Kim was up there in age, his eyes were still very clear and energetic. Looking at Eunha up and down, he said, "The butler told me that you are here to see me and you have a little jade stamp with you?"
Eunha pulled out the little jade stamp once again. "Yes, this is it right here."
Yeri sat down across from Eunha. She could not allow Old Mr. Kim to be fooled by some woman with malicious intents. Looking at the jade ornament that was only the size of a finger, she pouted a little.
Eunha walked up with the little jade stamp in hand and handed it over to Old Mr. Kim.
Old Mr. Kim picked up the little jade stamp and rubbed it between his fingers some. He then pulled out his own little jade stamp and put the two pieces together side by side. There was a gap between the two of them.
Old Mr. Kim looked over at Eunha and asked her, "Where did you get this little jade stamp from?"
Eunha couldn't read the look on Old Mr. Kim. She had produced the little jade stamp. Why was it that Old Mr. Kim showed no excitement at all?
"I've had it with me since I was a child."
Old Mr. Kim looked at her sharply. "Where did you get this fake one from?"
If there was a fake jade stamp, then the real one was out there as well.
"What? Fa... fake? That's not possible." Eunha was baffled. That was not possible. She got the little jade stamp from Lisa.
Over to one side, Yeri who had been staring at Eunha the entire time felt happy when she heard Old Mr. Kim scolding her that the jade stamp was fake. She was right. She knew that woman was a phony from the very beginning.
Yeri, while staring at Eunha viciously, happened to look over at her legs. She blinked all of a sudden, thinking that she was seeing things.
Eunha's pair of pretty legs that were fair and slender just a second ago seemed to have shrunk and became rough all of a sudden and gotten darker.
Was there something wrong with her eyes?
