Nancy listened to all the praises from everyone. Lifting her chin, she looked prideful, "This is nothing. Stay for a few extra days if you like. Just give them my name."

Next to Nancy was a girl with heavy makeup, curly hair, and had on a red floral dress. This girl squeezed through everyone else around Nancy and fought for the spot next to her. The fawning smile on her was more than obvious.

"Nancy, I missed you so much while you were overseas. Too bad you had switched to a new number and I wasn't able to get ahold of you."

Yeon Woo, the woman with heavy makeup, quickly pulled out her cp. "What is your number now? Let me add you. We can go shopping together during your free time, just like we used to. I'll keep you company wherever you want to go."

Nancy lifted her chin and said, "I lost my phone."

Everyone could see that her brand-new phone was sitting right there on top of the table. It was obvious that she didn't want to have anything to do with Yeon Woo.

As though already used to the embarrassment, Yeon Woo carried on to say, "We can be WeChat friends."

Nancy didn't beat around the bush with her. "I don't use WeChat."

Everybody recalled the message that Nancy had sent earlier to day telling everyone to meet at the private room.

Yeon Woo brushed her hair back behind her ear and smiled. "It had been so long that we had drifted apart some."

It seemed like Nancy was on the verge of snapping when someone injected next to them, "Is everyone here? Are we missing anyone? Class Lead, do you want to do take attendance? That's your wheelhouse."

"I can." The tall, lanky, and fair class lead back in the days had already turned into a big man. Time was but a cruel knife in a butcher's hand.

The class lead chuckled and flipped through the list of names. "We are missing Jungkook."

"Jungkook?"

"For sure he wouldn't come."

"I think we can count him out."

Everyone knew about Jungkook's special circumstances and didn't care much whether he attend the gathering or not. After all, he never interacted with anyone in class in the past. With the exception of getting the top grades in class every time and catching everyone's attention, he was pretty much invisible the rest of the time.

Many had already forgotten all about Jungkook other than the fact that he was a fool? Or that he had autism?

Even though Lisa had promised her that she would bring Jungkook there, Nancy wasn't sure whether Lisa was just saying that to toy with her.

Nancy had sent Lisa a message but she did not hear anything after a long while.

Did Lisa really lie to her?

Nancy frowned and she started looking unhappy.

Yeon Woo, next to her, had been paying close attention to Nancy. She would very good at reading people. She asked, "Nancy, you invited Jungkook?"

"If you don't have anything good to say, you don't need to say anything," said Nancy to her bluntly. "Who invited you anyway?"

She had forgotten to tell the class lead to leave Yeon Woo out.

Anyone could tell that Nancy disliked Yeon Woo and nobody knew why. Yeon Woo had always been Nancy's minion in senior high school. They two were seen together all the time. They were surprised that the two's relationship was worse than two strangers after all these years.

That and, with Yeon Woo trying to hard to kiss up to Nancy, was just sad to see.

Yeon Woo's smile stiffened and her hand that was holding on to her cellphone tightened.

The door to the private room opened up right at this moment.

A server walked inside, "This way please."

Everyone looked over and saw a tall and handsome man in a red exercise outfit walked in.

Many women's eyes lit up right away. Since when was there such a handsome man in their class?

"It's Jungkook," said someone somewhere.

Everyone took a closer look and, sure enough, the man was certainly Jungkook, the one who never said anything in class.
