"From all the things I pictured in my future life, nothing could have prepared me for this."

When Lance forced you and the others to a night out, you had no choice but to join them.
Through a series of completely unexpected events, though, the...

You listened to the sound of the air conditioning, the way the air left the vents, the subtle humming of it traveling through the pipes. The floor was cold, and it left you trembling- an attempt of your body to generate some heat in this freezing room.
The rest of your team, minus Coran and Lotor's group, were handcuffed in this dark and dusty cell. Lance was holding his ear to the walls, apparently searching for something.
It looked ridiculous, but you didn't say anything. You were too busy trying to fight off the dizziness you felt. It was like your ears were full of water, and your heart beat faster than usual.
"What are you doing?" Hunk asked him, to which Lance replied, "I'm feeling for a secret passage."
Keith said something, but you didn't hear.
Your hands were trembling, cold sweat formed on your forehead. Something felt off.
The lights in this cell weren't purple, but everything else was awfully familiar. You swallowed, trying not to think of it. You weren't there anymore. There was no reason for you to stress.
You sat in the corner of the room, next to Keith standing against the wall. It seemed like he was aggravated by Lance's kicking against the walls.
You took a shallow breath. And another one.
Your hearing cleared up for a moment. Allura was talking about Coran. "At least we have one ally out there still able to fight for us."
Pidge, sitting on the ground with her cuffed arms resting on her knees, turned to Allura. "Are you saying our fate rests in Coran hands?"
"No," you interrupted. Your jaw felt weird, and shaky, but you tensed your body and continued speaking. "Lotor is still out there." You paused, tightly clasping your cold hands together. "I told him and the others to come for us if we're not back by a certain time."
"Good job," Krolia replied, nodding to you in approval. "Better to have more people on the other side fighting for us."
"If they're actually doing it, that is," Keith muttered. You didn't bother to respond to that.
You looked to the ground, tensing your body. It was clear now that it was not the temperatures causing this. Everybody else was fine, except for you.
You felt a weird sensation on your neck and immediately turned to your right. Someone was watching you, it was Shiro.
He had an expression on his face, blank face except for the slightly furrowed brows. He looked... worried?
"Are you ok?" he mouthed.
You shrugged. You didn't know. Were you okay? Technically you were. Nobody was harming you and you were relatively safe in this cell for now.
Your body, on the other hand, was preparing to fight. Your mind was reeling, it was hard to form a thought at moments, without getting interrupted by flashes of old memories.
