"From all the things I pictured in my future life, nothing could have prepared me for this."

It was 0400 hours and you ran down the corridor in full armor, steady thuds echoing through the corridors as your boots stomped on the ground.
You were supposed to meet in the Black Lion's Hangar, where Keith would take you and Kolivan to the other five Blade members to meet up near Liadore. Luckily, Shiro had managed to convince Kolivan to let you join and so you practically skipped over to the hangar in excitement.
You wondered what you would see today; if missions with the Blades were that different from what you were used to. Of course, you already trusted what Keith had told you but it was different to see it for yourself.
When you arrived in the hall, Keith and Shiro were already waiting and talking next to the Lion. "Good morning," you greeted them as you made your way over to the two. Keith had his dark purple suit on that he got from the Blades, while Shiro stood there in his usual Garrison uniform. He was probably just there to send you guys off.
"Good morning, (Y/N)," Shiro replied, giving you a warm smile.
"You seem pretty awake for four AM," Keith remarked, nodding to you.
"Yup, I'm just excited," you replied, shrugging. "Haven't been on a stealth mission for a long time."
Keith didn't really look tired judging by his face, but the way he slouched against the Black Lion and moved calmer than usual gave him away. He was probably training late into the night.
When Kolivan walked in, things moved fast. You quickly rushed into the Lion without wasting much breath and left quickly to join the other Blade members near the Ithe DT72-X system, wherever that was. You let Keith do the navigating while Kolivan explained the details of this mission.
"You'll have to change into a proper uniform first. You're sticking out with your paladin uniform."
You looked down at it; the contrast of the white and gray to the dark purple they were wearing. "Aren't we supposed to be hidden anyway?"
That earned you a clearly deadpan look, which you thought wasn't even possible with the Galran Blade leader since he always looked that way.
"We have to prepare for when things go wrong. Having you be this easily identifiable will only cause trouble later on."
You didn't disagree with that so he continued explaining.
"We'll infiltrate the base via cargo in pairs of two. It's the safest route to get in undetected. Then, when the cargo boxes reach their destinations in different parts of the base, you may exit only if it is safe to do so. Gather intelligence, evidence, but stay hidden."
You nodded along, and Keith did the same.
"In intervals of 30 doboshes, boxes will leave the same way you got in. Try to find them in time and hide until we meet back again on that ship."
