"From all the things I pictured in my future life, nothing could have prepared me for this."

When Lance forced you and the others to a night out, you had no choice but to join them.

You threw yourself on your bed, tossing the bag of weaponry to the side.
The mission on Tayl was successful and you had eliminated your enemy in even less time than you had expected. The place he was in- a vacation house he seemed to be building- was pretty fragile still, needing to be held up by a metal structure until the material settled. All you had to do was mess with it, causing the whole three floors of cement and metal rods to collapse on him. Needless to say, he was dead immediately.
You sighed, kicking your feet back and forth. You were almost done with all the people on your list. A few weeks had passed now since you started. While Lotor and Allura did their thing, you had more than enough free time to go off on your own and complete your assassinations in the meantime. It was pretty convenient.
You told the others you were meeting up with ex-prisoners from the Zirakal, making sure everyone was taken care of and so on. They didn't have to know what you were actually going on days-long trips for. Well, you were pretty sure Lotor knew since he provided the list of attendees, but he didn't say a thing.
For the next mission tomorrow, you'd take Xyra with you. You needed the extra support for this since you were visiting Liadore. The only two people left on your list were Cyran and Elora, the people who praised you for being a "freedom fighter", only for them to go behind your back. You should have known from the beginning, how fake and evil these people were.
In the morning, you and Xyra would go off in the Red Lion, taking on the journey of two days. You would be doing this the unconventional way. Instead of flying to his place and just killing them off, you and Xyra would disguise yourself and stay under for a little. There was an event scheduled to be happening in five days, where the royal family would attend.
You'd execute the family publicly; humiliate them like they did to you.
That meant you'd have to stay low for about two and a half days until then, but you'd manage. With the proper technology you acquired from another planet while you were on your missions, you would shift into one of them. The devices only worked for about twelve hours at a time, though, so you had to time everything correctly.
All in all, you were pretty excited for this, although you probably shouldn't be this thrilled at the idea of assassinating someone.
You picked up your phone, clutching it tightly in your hands. Keith was still on his mission, your last conversation was weeks ago. You really missed him.
You wondered what he was doing, if he was fine and how his mission was going. Kolivan couldn't tell you much, unfortunately, so you really just had to wait.
Exhaustion made your eyes heavy but your legs felt restless, so you lazily got up from the bed and walked out the room. Maybe taking a little stroll around would help you after all. It should tire you out enough.
