The crowd was cheering, your team was completely defeated and Lance was in a tank full of weird green liquid that was apparently cooking him alive.

You watched with wide eyes as he swam around the pool, frantically moving his arms to reach for the pool's edge to hold onto.

"Lance, are you okay?" you yelled over to the blue paladin, who, by now, steadied himself and looked around rather calmly.

"Yeah, I think so," he replied, approvingly nodding. "It's actually pretty comfortable in here."

The moderator, who you now knew as Bob, directed his attention to the audience as he pointed to Lance. "Well, eventually, the liquid will eat through his skin."

The audience laughed as Lance's face fell immediately.

Then, Bob continued, "When we get back from the break, we'll see if Lance's fellow paladins can get him out of the warflator before he gets turned into hot pudding."

An announcement sounded through the speaker. You looked up as you listened to the words, "Garfle warfle snick is sponsored by Vrepit Sal!"

An ad was displayed on the screen while Bob disappeared backstage.

"Oh, I worked there," Hunk commented as he looked at the ad with curiosity. "Good to see that the business is still going smoothly."

"What? When did you have time to work there?" you inquired, tilting your head in question.

"Oh, when we went to the mall for the Scaultrite lenses, remember?"

You nodded, thinking back to that day when you met the group of boys who deceived you. Had it not been for Keith, you wouldn't know where you'd be now.

You turned to the savior in question and watched him analyze his surroundings. He had a serious expression on his face, lips put into a line and eyes narrowed.

"What are you looking for?"

"Nothing in particular. Just wondering what this place really is."

He turned to you and leaned closer. "I mean, it doesn't make sense we ended up here with no recollection of it. How is that possible?"

"Mh, yeah it's weird," you admitted, looking back to the audience hidden in the dark. You then decided to pinch yourself just a little to really make sure this wasn't some sort of dream. It wasn't.

"Are you sure this place isn't some supernatural... I don't know- is this eve a real place?" Keith wondered, shrugging. "My suit won't tell me the coordinates of where we are."

"What else could it be?" you questioned as you tried the same thing with your suit. "But then again, there's always something weird and seemingly impossible happening to us."
