"From all the things I pictured in my future life, nothing could have prepared me for this."

You watched with wide eyes as the armored enemy directed its weapon in your direction.
"Watch out!" someone yelled, before the beast shot their shot. You didn't have to be told twice to flee the scene, so you pushed the steering handles forwards as fast as you could, accelerating your Lion just quickly enough to dodge the attack that landed on a hill behind you.
"That was close," you mumbled to yourself as you watched the laser crumble the entirety of the surface it hit. That armored beast definitely packed a punch so you had to look out.
Keith spoke up, commanding Hunk to quickly get Shiro to the Atlas while the rest of you would try to keep the enemy occupied.
He was already on the way to attack the beast, activating his sword and rushing to make some damage.
Meanwhile, Lance and Allura covered him from a distance. You joined them, activating your lasers to shoot at the enemy.
A few blasts were sent its way, but the armored robot took the spear in its hands, held it high into the air and started spinning it quickly. You watched in confusion for a moment, but quickly realized what was happening.
"Keith, get away!" you shouted, but it was too late.
The spinning spear of this beast created an energy field, reflecting your own attacks and redirecting them into every other direction. A few of them hit the Black Lion almost immediately, sending him to the ground.
Dust covered the ground where the Black Lion crashed into it and in a matter of a second, the beast stood next to Keith, ready to impale with its spear.
Then, a shot hit from behind, slowing it down. Pidge had sneaked up on him from behind and landed the perfect shot to its head.
"We got you covered, get away," Pidge exclaimed, before she shot again. Although your shots barely seemed to do some damage, it did a well enough job to distract the beast.
You kept on with that strategy- shooting to distract and then attacking from behind, and although it seemed to work for a little, the armored robot quickly caught on.
With lasers bigger than before, it managed to hit almost three of you with only one attack. You quickly gained some distance, watching the robot with a puzzled expression. How was this much energy even possible?
"Guys, this won't do. We need to form Voltron and take him out together."
Everyone agreed, but there didn't seem to be an opening to do so. Even a second of no attacks was enough for the beast to make him damage one of you.
You turned to your map on the side, where something else was approaching from behind. "We're back again, paladins," Coran voiced through the speakers.
