Revelations

You listened to the team and Keith's companions as they introduced themselves to one another.
Leaning against the wall, you held some distance, crossing your arms and trying to figure out what was going on. Xyra was there too by now, after you quickly ran to her room and woke her up.

She was still rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

The people Keith brought along- it really surprised you to say the least. You had not expected an Altean, and who was the Galra woman?

Xyra did not recognize her at all, which was to be expected.
Somehow, she resembled Keith a little bit.
Or rather completely. Their faces looked the same.
You narrowed your eyes as you kept watching.

"Lance is right," Shiro admitted, seeming impressed by what he saw. "You have changed."

"Yeah, time is different where I've been."

Then, the Galra woman spoke up, raising her hand in Shiro'd direction for him to shake. "Shiro, I am Krolia. Keith has told me all about you."

She looked rather serious as she said, "Thank you, for raising him to be the man he is today."

Huh? You tilted your head in surprise. Was she really who you thought she was?

"Krolia is with the Blade of Marmora," Keith explained, before he glanced to you and the group for a second. "Also," he looked to the ground as he hesitated, "she's my mother."

"Oh wow, so that's why you look alike," you blurted out, glancing from him to Krolia and back again. His mother had now turned to you, before approaching you.

"And you're (Y/N), right?" she asked with a smile on her face as she looked at you.

"Yes, it's an honor to meet you, Krolia," you replied, holding out your hand to shake it just like she did with Shiro.

She took it, before pulling you in for a quick hug. "Keith told me a lot about you as well. I'm glad he's met such a good person to be by his side."

You reciprocated the hug, smiling awkwardly because she just announced that in front of the whole team. You hadn't told anyone until now.

When she pulled away, you were met with the grinning faces of Hunk, Pidge and Coran.
"Wait wait waaait, so it's like, official?" Hunk asked, gesturing to Keith and you.

"Um, was all you said, as you slowly nodded.

Keith firmly stated, "Yes, she's been my girlfriend for a while now."

"And you planned to tell us, uh, when exactly?" Hunk asked while Pidge and Coran nodded.
"I mean," Coran added, "we knew it was going to happen, but already?"

"You what? How did you guys know?" you asked in shock. Didn't you two keep it a secret?

Lance put his arm on Coran's shoulder. "And you guys thought I was the slow one? I mean, wasn't it obvious?"
