Movie Night - {Fernando Alonso}

A/N: Got a request to write some Spanish teacher or just some fluff, I combined them cause I like both of the ideas! Hope you like them as well :)

           

You looked up at the clock and saw it finally hit five o'clock. "God bless". You mumbled and collected your stuff from your desk. The day of work was long and this one was heavy for some reason, maybe because it was Monday. You hadn't slept a lot and you missed Fernando a lot.

He was still in Belgium due to the race weekend and you were sad work didn't allow you to come along. You had been cheering for him at your house in Madrid.

You almost ran to your car in the parking lot, glad you could finally get out of this place. Your mood improved as you drove home. You were surprised to see the black sports car of Fernando on the porch. You opened the front door.

"Hola, Y/N". Fernando sat on the couch. "Ahw babe, you're back already, what a surprise!". You smiled brightly and walked up to him. The Spaniard engulfed you in a hug and you kissed him. "I've missed you, you did so well in Belgium". You said.

"Thanks, Corazon". [Darling, love] Fernando smiled and stroke your cheek and kissed it softly. "I've brought you something".

"You didn't have to!". You called from the coat rack where you placed your jacket and bag. "You know how Antwerp is called the diamond city, right?". Fernando asked, holding something behind his back. "No, you didn't". You said, giving him a glare.

"I did". He laughed and gave you a small bag. You rolled your eyes and hesitated before opening it. A blue, velvet covered box was in it and you sat down as you opened it. "Jesus Christ". You mumbled, holding the golden earrings with the small diamond in them in your hands.

"Do you like them?". Fernando asked, a look of worry on his face.

"I love them, Fernando, but they must be so expensive". You said, sighing at the gorgeous jewellery. "Nena, I don't care if they are expensive, your smile when you wear them is worth more than the price of those earrings". He said, taking your free hand gently.

"You're the sweetest, I love you".

"Te amo". He smiled. "Te amo". You repeated, just to say it in Spanish. Fernando smiled yet again and moved to put them in your ear. "See? They look beautiful on you". You looked in the mirror and had to admit that he was right.

You grabbed his cheeks to kiss him again. "What about a movie night? I heard from Daniel that the new film of Melissa McCarthy is very funny". He said, holding you by your waist. You nodded. "Sure, I'll get some crisps and something to drink".

Fernando started the film as you were getting the food and the drinks. You came back with a bottle of Coke and some crisps, kicking of your shoes before sitting down on the soft couch. Fernando put his arm around you and you leaned on his chest as the film started.

You put a few crisps in your mouth and one in Fernando's as well as he held his mouth open. "Hey, Nando?". You asked.

"Hey, Y/N?". He asked in the same tone and you giggled. "What are crisps in Spanish?". Fernando laughed at your sudden question. "What? I just couldn't stop thinking about it". You said and shrugged, eating some more.

"Patatas fritas". He said and you burst into laughter as the word was pretty funny. "Seriously?". You asked and he nodded. "Yo como patatas fritas". Fernando continued. "I eat crisps?". You asked.

"Yes, that's correct. Okay, another one". Fernando looked around and at the tv screen for a moment. "Estamos viendo una película". He said and you loved his Spanish tongue. "We're watching tv?".

"Almost, we're watching a movie". You slapped yourself on your forehead. "Of course". Fernando laughed and ruffled your hair. "It's fine, you're still learning". "Si". You answered and smiled, taking a sip of your coke.

"Yo bebo coca cola".

"I drink cola". You proudly responded. "Totally right, Corazon". He smiled and kissed your cheek. "We can continue tomorrow, or else we will miss too much of the movie". You laughed and agreed, continuing the lovely evening as you cuddled into his chest.
