A/N: This was a fun request to write! Thanks for requesting and I hope you enjoy it :)

You didn't know what was wrong with him today, but it went wrong as soon as he woke up at 5:30 in the morning. He normally leaves your apartment in Milton Keynes really quietly so you could sleep a few hours more. This morning Max accidentally slammed his alarm off the night stand, causing the lamp to go down and crash at the floor.

The dog started to bark and Max was getting up to shush her and tried to fix the situation. "Max? What's going on?". You snapped on the lights and looked up at him through squinted eyes. He was busy dressing up. "Nothing, babe. Go to back to sleep". You shook your head and laid down on the pillow again.

Within ten minutes you heard him leaving your apartment and the Aston Martin engine revving to get to the Red Bull factory. You were wide awake and grumpily stood up at 5:45 in the morning. Your days were heavy lately. Next to traveling with Max and sharing the pressure of his F1 career, you worked at home and always had your laptop at your side and managed to care of your drive as well, all in one day.

You were lucky if you catched 4 or 5 hours of sleep in the night and you tried to not make it look like you were tired, Max didn't even know that you felt exhausted. Luna, your Labrador, looked at you with pleading eyes. Nice, Max forgot to take her out for a pee. You sighed and took her outside to let her pee in the bushes quickly.

Your normal routine of cleaning the house a bit started a couple hours earlier this day and Max came home as you were working on your laptop. "Afternoon, love". Max pressed a kiss on your cheek as he came up behind you. "Hey, babe". You answered, clenching your jaw as you weren't really in the mood.

"Daniel was so annoying today. Really, I don't know why he was like that today...". Max rambled on as you nodded along his story, part of you listening, part of you didn't. You understood that he needed to get rid of his frustrations about his team mate, the car, but it was hard to give him advice on that. He needed to tell Daniel himself, not you.

"We've got groceries to get. I made a list". You pointed at the yellow sticky note. "That's okay". He responded and sat down on the couch. "Now?". "If possible". You nodded.

Max looked at you with a frown as you got your stuff from the grocery store. "Do we need eggs?". You looked up at him. He shrugged, busy tapping away on his phone. "Like you ever know". You rolled your eyes. "What?". Max asked. "You heard me".

"What's up with you?".

"What's up with you?". You returned the question, a sharp tone in your voice.

"I'm not discussing this here, people are looking at us". You hissed before Max could answer what you said.

Max drove back to the apartment before you could cause any accidents. "Babe, what's wrong?". He grabbed your elbow to make you stop unpacking the groceries. "What's wrong? You're seriously asking me that?".

"Well if I already knew I wouldn't ask you". He slightly raised his voice as he was getting a little irritated. You sighed and closed your eyes. "I am working every day, till 2 or 3 'o clock in the night to keep my job. I sleep around 4 hours a night and I have to deal with your stress too".

"Why don't you just tell me that before things escalate like this?". Max threw his hands in the air. "This isn't escalating, you're always making it seem worse!". You raised your voice too. "I can't call my dad every day to 'relieve my stories'. Sorry I bother you with my life". He yelled.

"You can tell me everything, Max! But I can't help it if your team mate is annoying or something like that! It's just... it's though. It's hard for me to live my life and be part of yours at the same time". You lowered your voice and bit your lip, the tears threatening to fall.

It was quiet for a moment. "Babe, I didn't know. I didn't want too...". You didn't hear what he said further as Max pulled you into his chest. Your cries muffled my the material of his sweater. "I'm just so tired". You sobbed as all your stress finally left your body.

Max made you look up at him as he had your cheeks in his palms. He hated seeing you like this. "Please, don't cry, Y/N". He wiped your wet cheeks and leaned forward to kiss your lips. You kissed him back and tangled your fingers in his hair. Max pulled you even more close by your waist and lifted you onto the kitchen counter. "I love you, you know that right?".

You nodded and smiled as he kissed your lips once again. "I love you too".

"You sure?". He smirked.

"Yes!". You laughed and swatted his chest.
