A/N: Max in my Greekgod!series :) Part 2 is possible!

Everyone was talking about the new camper, but you couldn't care less.

"He's one of the big three". The camper kids whispered as he walked passed your table. The Aphrodite table was giggling loudly when he walked by, always sending flirty smiles his way.

And he loved it. He loved the attention he got from everyone. Even the Ares cabin seemed to be interested in him. Max was here for one month now and he was marked as Poseidon's soon after his entrance, a bright blue trident circling over his head as soon as he stepped over the camp borders.

Max was attractive, you had to admit. But you didn't feel any kind of affection for him as you saw him almost swallowing the face of the Aphrodite cabin, which existed about 95% of girls.

You were the only girl in the Ares cabin and that made you a tough one. You grew up with your half-brothers, who weren't just some guys. These were young men who were muscled and battle born. Training at every other cabin meant just doing some sports, but in the Ares cabin? It was bootcamp. Every single day.

You got used to it, starting your day with the usual run through the forest. You were mostly with your brother Travis, who was smaller than you, but had arms twice the size of yours.

Growing up with only boys made you one of them and that's why you mostly weren't in the picture for the new campers who were boys. Girls neither by the way, you weren't girly enough for them.

Of course you weren't behaving like a total man, but you didn't care about dirt, enjoyed the fights and you could throw knives as one of the bests of the camp. The posters of hard rock bands in your cabin already made them hesitate to come in and you were totally fine by that.

You preferred to be alone or with your brothers.

Max glanced over at you as you sat at the dinner tables in the colosseum hall with the rest of the Ares campers. He liked how you didn't look so fragile like the other girls around. Of course the Aphrodite girls were pretty, but he thought you were beautiful as well.

He clenched his jaw at how you didn't even care about him. Max could remember that you introduced yourself als the leader of Cabin Ares, but that was everything. He had the attention of every female living thing here in the camp. But not you. And he hated that.

Max had noticed how your bright eyes were always focused and looking around. He bet you were the best on the field. Your dark hair flowing down your face and he had been counting the times you let it just hang loose, no pony tail in it. Which was now the second time.

You were small, but he didn't dare to underestimate your strength. For a girl, broad shoulders, yet a small waist. Max smirked to himself as he let his eyes wander to your bum.

"Poseidon's looking over at you". One of your brother growled and nudged your elbow. You glanced over your shoulder to meet his eyes. You shrugged and turned around. "Let him".

"He must've mistaken you for Aphrodite's lass". Another one on the table laughed. "Shut it". You shot him a glare, but laughed as well, glasses of beer clinking together.

You slept weird that night. You couldn't get into a sleep. It felt like the sea was raging in your ear, the sound of furious waves violently smacking against a ship filled your mind every time you dozed away.

You sighed as you recognized the stage of sleep and nuzzled further into your pillow.

The wind became stronger and the ship barged through the raging sea. Your clothes were drenched by the rain and it made your hair slap against your face, a stinging pain leaving on your skin. You grabbed the railing to get to the person who was steering this big ship.

You opened the cabin to find no one behind the big wheel. A wave smacked against the side, the ship turning towards the left and your stomach made a back flip. "Holy Poseidon". You muttered to yourself.

You went outside again and you panicked as you couldn't see anyone on the ship. The rain blurred your vision and the only thing you saw was the sea who was becoming wilder any moment.

You were not on your territorial and the God of the Seas knew. He wanted to punish you.

You wanted to get back inside and just sit against the wall, praying you'd be alive after all of this. The daylight will bring a calmer sea. You weren't even done with the thought as another wave splashed all its water over the ship.

The ground was slippery and it send you to the ground immediately. You whined at the shot of pain running down your spine. The ship leaned over to the left again and it was too far. The steel was cracking and you lost your grip.

Your back in the railing and it took your breath away, a pain that send you unconscious ran through your body. You fell off the ship, the cold water like concrete as you well at least 6 meters.

You couldn't move and felt the water filling your lungs. You tried to scream but no word came out and you sunk down, deeper and deeper into the sea where you didn't belong.

You were shaking as you were wide awake, immediately sitting up. You checked around to make sure you weren't on the ship. You shivered at the thought of drowning and stepped out of your bed, slipping into your jeans and grey top to go outside.

You took your knives with you, throwing them will release the stress and make you get rid of the nightmare in your head.

Even though your vision was poor, you could easily throw them onto the boards in the light of the moon. You heard someone cough and your first reaction was throwing a knife. "Wow, calm down". You recognized the voice and you could only smirk at the knife next to his head.

Max's blue eyes seemed to light up in the night and he curiously looked at you. You noticed how he wasn't wearing a shirt, just some loose, black joggers, hands tucked in the pockets.

"Did you have a nice dream?". Your nostrils flared at the question and you were ready to throw the next one. His hand wrapped around your wrists made you drop the smart object.

"I believe I asked you a question". He said. "I think you already know the answer to your own question". You hissed. Max was close, too close for your liking.

You could smell his delicious cologne and he smelled a bit like the sea. His eyes that deep shade of blue that made you believe the sea was right there, in those little orbs.

"That's right". Max purred, his grip on your wrist loosening.

"Maybe I could pull your attention that way". He continued, studying your face. Max secretly loved how you were fearless, not even scared of the son of Poseidon in front of you, who could haunt you in your dreams.

"Did you want my attention so dearly? Thought you had plenty girls that want your attention more than me, why don't you go and waste their time?".

"You're not like the other girls". He said, now in a softer tone.
