"Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true. Where other men are limited by morality or law, Remember, everything is permitted. We work in the dark to serve the light. We are assassins."

His breath hitched in his throat as he saw your gorgeous and bright orbs. "You're beautiful". Daniel whispered and a friendly smile tugged on his lips.

"No". Your voice croaked. His eyebrows formed into a frown and he was about to protest. "I'm Y/N". The smile on his face became brighter and wider at your reply.

"Well, Y/N, you look beautiful".

Andalusia, Spain, 1462

The Assassins Creed were here in Spain to keep the order in the country, the King was practically powerless, but some tried. Like you've seen with the rebels a couple days ago. Daniel was mainly out for missions and you had to stay in.

You became Daniel's precious treasure and he didn't want anybody else to touch you, so you had to stay in his room during the hours he was gone. You didn't mind it much, there were old books written by his father and grandpa and his grandpa's father and you spend your hours like that, getting to know more and more about the Creed.

Every evening before the dinner they rambled the oath and by now you had learned it as well, easily mumbling the words along to it. The nights in the desert became colder and colder and you shivered under the thin blanket Daniel had given you, but you were too shy to ask for another.

Daniel could hear your teeth clatter in the silence of the night and he shook his sheets off, wandering next doors to the small room were you stayed. "Y/N?". Shivers still ran over your spine whenever he said your name, the kind brown eyes visible in the dim lighted room.

He kneeled at your bed, his hand placed over yours. "You're freezing". Daniel muttered and you didn't reply. Daniel easily wrapped his arms around you and pulled you up against him. "Let me wrap you in some blankets". He said and set you down on his bed.

You watched how he walked out of the room to search for the spare blankets that were around. You eyed the big cape he always wore around his shoulder and it know hung on a hook on his door. His weapons were stalled out on his desk, several knifes from several sizes and the big axe that he always had on his back.

The bracelet looking things made of leather and the knifes that were extendable braided between the brown leather. His boots stood next to it. Your fingers reached out to touch the cape and it felt like velvet material. Without thinking you pulled it off the hook and wrapped it around yourself, curling up at the end of his bed.

The heat of the velvet cape surrounded your and you almost immediately found sleep as the cold was melted. The cape smelled of him as well, a musky and rich smell you couldn't completely put a finger on, a bit like cinnamon mixed with something else.

You disappeared into the red material as Daniel's body was way taller and broader than yours, it was made for him after all. Daniel came back with a couple of new blankets in his hands, about to speak up, but then he say you curled up in his cape.

Daniel was about to get mad as he hated when people touched or used his stuff, but he couldn't get himself to move as you laid there so peacefully asleep, a bit more colour on your face as you weren't cold anymore. He said down next to you, moving his fingers through your hair. He studied your sleeping form and realized you were absolutely beautiful yet again.

He pulled you up to lay you with your head down on the pillow. He crawled under the sheets next to you, his bare chest flush against your back as he wrapped his arms around you. He cracked a smile and caressed your cheek before trying to sleep.

A couple hours later you woke up from someone banging on the door and it was time for everyone to wake-up and handle other missions. You gasped as Daniel had his muscled arms wrapped around you, you never meant to sleep like this, but you didn't mind it if you had to be honest.

"Dan?". Your soft voice spoke and you slightly pushed his chest as he hadn't heard the loud banging on the door. "Dan, you have to get up". He opened his eyes with a smile, stretching his body out and you blushed as you saw he wasn't wearing anything to cover his upper body.

Bags were visible under his amber eyes and sat up as well, kissing your forehead to let you squeal adorably in surprise. You followed his moves out of bed, clumsily stepping into his pants and sliding every weapon in his clothes.

He could hardly keep his eyes open at the breakfast, leaning on his head on his hand, causing the knifes to almost extend quickly and slice his cheek open. You giggled softly as you sat in between him and another assassin.

Why he was so tired? He felt the need to watch over you the whole night.
