Jade and Dean were still at home, but this time, they were at a little beach café

Jade had put her napkin on her lap before she turned to him

"So big match with dad soon, how're you feeling?" She asked

"I'm so freaking excited, you don't even know, you're dad pushes me so hard to be my best." He said, drinking some water

"He's always been like that, I just wish you had a chance to wrestle Daddy Mark or Daddy Shawn," she said with a sigh

"He's always been like that, I just wish you had a chance to wrestle Daddy Mark or Daddy Shawn," she said with a sigh

"You seem to really like them," he said smiling

"Oh yeah, they're amazing people, I'll never forget what they did for me, I remember this one time, I was still upset with dad but it had a father daughter dance in school and you'd get extra credit if you went so like, I had to go and I remember how hard it was to see everyone dancing with their dads and me, not having one and then lo and behold, this 6"10 giant of a man waltz in, literally and dances me around on his toes, it's things like that you keep people in mind for you know," she said

"And then I was so sad when Christmas came and dad wasn't home and when I began crying Mark and Shawn came in dressed like Santa and an elf and that touched my heart that someone cared about me that much to humiliate themselves just so I'd smile, those two, wacky guys are a gift, and I'd be stupid if I didn't realize that. They gave me memories my dad couldn't," she said half shrugging as she finished

Dean just smiled at her as she spoke about her happy childhood memories

She picked up her glass of water

"What about your family?" She asked, not knowing of his past and just like that, the mood dropped and Dean's eyes visibly darkened

"Umm," he began, running his finger on the brim of the glass

It was an innocent question and she deserved to know, the demons he carried with him throughout his whole life

"It's not something I really tell people or talk about you know," he said but sighed

"It ain't really all peaches and cream," he said
