Dean was back at the hospital the very next day with Jade. He was apologizing while running his hand through her soft blonde hair
"And I just don't want you to think that I never thought you didn't have a hard life, I didn't wanna make you feel so small, ever and I guess I just got angry about my mom and I took it out on you and I'm so sorry," Dean said stopping his ministrations on her hair
"I'm truly very sorry babe, love wasn't something I was even interested in when I met you, and then I fell so hard in love. I was the biggest jerkface in the world until I met you and I knew that I needed to change. If I had just kept my big mouth shut, you wouldn't have been in this place, you could've been with me and DJ at home. This is all my fault, all of it," he said, flailing his arms Jade negatively shook her head and rested her hand on Dean's head and played with his hair

"It's not your fault, if I had just stayed to hear what you or even Randy had to say, this wouldn't have happened. I was a stubborn bitch, and I had to pay for that," Jade said, poking his cute nose
He quickly grabbed her hand and held it to his chest, she grinned as it sped up, yup, she still got it
"You aren't a stubborn bitch, cupcake, you were upset for valid reasons and I need to learn that the things I say can really affect people," he said, leaning over to kiss her hair
The doctor walked in, saying it was time to take off the cast, he sawed it off and smiled as she stretched her arm
"Well it's healed," he joked, laughing at the end
"You'll get to leave by this evening, once we observe your vitals for the day, and there's visitors outside, Mr. Ambrose, please come and clear them," the doctor said, smiling when Dean nodded and got up, kissing Jade's cheek before following him out the door
When Dean got back, her mom and dad were already smothering her. Her mom was insistently trying to fluff her pillow and her dad was trying to adjust the bed and neither was going so well, as the bed jolted and knocked the pillow out of Stephanie's hands
"Paul, you big oaf," she hissed, picking back up the pillow
Dean hid a chuckle at the look of disapproval on Jade's face. He smiled and bounced DJ on his hip before he decided to make his presence known
"Alright, alright, leave her alone everyone," he said in a fond tone as he walked with DJ over to Jade's bed
"Mommy, missed you," DJ said, reaching her arms out and wiggling to loosen her daddy's grip
Jade sat up a bit and took DJ into her arms and held her close
"Hi sugar cake," she whispered into her hair, rocking her in her arms
While Paul went for the departure papers and Stephanie went for Jade's items, the happy family stood in Jade's room, Jade changed back into a comfy dress that Dean had brought her since her other outfit was stained with blood
