Proposal

-2 Years Later-

Jade smiled as she sat on Dean's lap backstage watching as their daughter won her first Women's championship. They were so happy for her. Each of them knowing what it was like to win their first championship, also knowing how hard DJ worked night in and night out to get this far.

Jade smiled wider as DJ's boyfriend, Anthony Orton walked out to congtaratulate her, with his WWE Championship on his shoulder.

Dean rubbed Jade's leg and she turned to him, pecking his lips, knowing his gesture meant he was thinking about when they were in that position as young lovers.

Dean went first to meet her, he pecked her forehead and then shook Anthony's hand. Then Jade hugged Jade and kissed her cheek, then she hugged Anthony

Jade looked at Anthony, gesturing to him that now was the right time. And when he nodded, Dean wrapped his arm around his wife

Anthony took out his ring box and looked up at DJ as he slowly sank to a knee and she smiled widely

"I've been in love with you since we were kids Deej. You've believed in me since day 1 and you've supported me through everything I've ever done. There are times when I think I'm doing everything wrong. But when I look at you, I see everything I did right. We've been together for 1 year and 8 beautiful months and I want to experience forever with you. So-" he paused opening the ring box

"Danielle Jordyn Ambrose, will you marry me?" Anthony asked looking hopefully into DJ's blue eyes with his own brown ones 

"Yes," she said, eyes watering

"Yes sugar, a thousand times yes," she said, watching the love of her life push the ring on her finger then pick her up in his arms to kiss her

"We should give them some space babe," Jade whispered to her husband

Dean nodded and with his hand on the small of his wife's back led them to catering

Jade toed off her high heels and rested her feet on Dean's lap like they always used to do when they were younger

"Why is it so many years into the future and when I look at you I feel as though we haven't aged." Dean asked smiling, watching Jade smile at him while eating a strawberry

"Aww, that's sweet. Maybe cuz love is timeless and we've been in love so long it just comes natural at a point." Jade said grinning at Dean. Then she leaned over and kissed him
