Derek's sharp blue werewolf eyes rang through my head as my aunt Kate ranted on about how terrible werewolf's were. I just agreed on the outside but punched her in the face on the inside. Soon I gave up and told her I was going to bed. I fell asleep to the though of Derek's voice in my mind.

I woke up the next day and greeted Kate and Allison at the table for breakfast.
"Hey girls, remind me to show you guys something after school. It's important." She smiled evilly.
"Okay!" I falsely smiled back.
Allison and I went off to school but I couldn't get a bad feeling out of my stomach.
I walked to class and asked Scott, stiles, Lydia and Jackson if they've seen Derek at all. They all replied with a no which made the pit in my stomach weigh down even more.
I ran out of the classroom at the last bell and ran home, not waiting for Allison to drive me home. I ran to Derek's old burnt down half home and called his name. I got no response so I shouted it again.
With no hope after three calls vanished into air I ran back to my house.
"Hey I'm home!" I rang as Kate and Allison chatted in the living room.
"Cool youre home! I didn't want to start the surprise without you!" Kate cheered.
"Thanks got waiting for me! I had to drop off a project at one of my friends houses!" I lied.
"That's okay. Come on." Kate led us down to a secret hallway that had a metal door at the end of the hallway.
"What you're about to see may change you forever. Are you ready for it?"
"Yes." We both said.
She unlocked the heavy metal door and swung it open. We walked in and I saw derek hanging from a fence.
Anger and confusion boiled up inside me but I held it back.
Derek's eyes widened when he saw me but i motioned for him to stay quiet and not lead anything on.
He understood and stayed silent.
Only when Kate starting hitting on him and poking the bear that it really got under my skin.
Yeah I wasn't even 18 yet, I still had a year, but god I will never love anymore more then him.
"Well. We should probably leave the beast." Kate cackled.
"No. Can I stay? I want to have a little fun with this one." I smirked evilly. I knew this is what Kate wanted for us so I played along with her little game.
"Of course."
I walked up to him and smirked.
He growled going along with my plan.
"You think you're threatening? Thats cute." I said chuckling. "Now. What do I go with?" I said looking at the wall of devises.
"How about... taser?" I asked Kate. She laughed and said "I'll leave you to it."
She walked out and I knew she'd be eavesdropping so I continued to play along.
"You're not gonna like this. I guess you could say this is... electrifying." I maniacally laughed.
I walked up to him and started the taser. I held it away from him but walked closer.
I whispered into his ear "I'm sorry. But I know she's listening, so I have to." I apologized. He nodded with what little energy he had left and I held the taser to his side and pressed it to his hip. He roared out in pain and huffed after.
I heard Kate's steps walk away and I waited a minute before my plans laid out.
I soon searched for the keys so the breakout wouldn't be loud.
I unlocked the cuffs and ripped of the electrical currant wires that were connected to him.
He looked up at me with his tired eyes and my heart cracked. It really hurt to see him so vulnerable. I sighed and hugged him as he fell into me.
"Hey you're okay. I just need you to heal quickly now."
He closed his eyes and filtered out the wolfsbane in his body.
I heard footsteps walk back down and my heart pumped.
"Derek you have to heal like now!" He couldn't do it in time.
"Im sorry." I pushed him back into the cuffs and grabbed the taser. He slowly started to heal and I turned on the taser as she walked in.
"How's my little demon doing?" She smirked.
"So good. I love this feeling." I laughed as I heard the taser pop.
"Good." She walked out and walked up the stairs.
I sighed and walked to unchain him.
"Ya know. It's scary the way you can shift personalities like that." I laughed as I unhooked him and I got lost in my thoughts of jealousy as I looked at his stomach that Kate had licked not too long ago.
"You okay?" Derek asked as he lifted my chin.
"Yeah. Just bad memories." I said shaking my head as I stood up.
Derek was about to walk out when I grabbed his shoulder, turned him and kissed his lips hard. I wanted him to be mine and I wanted him to only want me.
"Mine." I groaned as he let me go.
He snickered and kissed my cheek.
"I promise. I only have eyes for you. I don't love Kate. Only you." He said nuzzling into my neck. I wrapped my arms around his bare waist and kissed his head.
"God I hate my family." I growled but not like a werewolf, like a protective girlfriend, even though I wasn't his girlfriend.
He chuckled and grabbed my hand as we walked out.
I was protecting him, I was the inside man, but mostly, I loved derek, and hated my family
