To know more about the Empathize Quirk, which I absolutely adore and use several times in this book, please read this:

Empathize: The ability to feel what another person feels, whether physically or mentally.

This quirk gives the user the ability to look into another person's eyes and feel their emotions, giving the user visions of why the person feels that way. Alternatively, it can be used to give a target visions, such as nightmares, based on what the user is feeling. Can be used to communicate, though communication can be interrupted by the flow of thoughts, visions, and emotions.

Using the quirk without looking into a target's eyes is possible, but can result in terrible migraines. The user is susceptible to other's strong emotions. Witnessing traumatic events can lead to recurring nightmares.

I love this quirk tbh. I use a couple other quirks in this book, but this is my favourite.
