Blue's POV:

After filling Stuart's glass with orange juice I turned to walk away.

"Blue, I want you and Black out of my sight. I don't want to see you here in the dinning while I'm eating breakfast." His command was clear and sounded harsh making the other guards around me cackle, but my heart fluttered at the thought of being able to ice and treat my arm and I wondered why the suddon strange behaviour.

...

"Stop looking at me like that Layla." I whispered as we stood in the quiet bathroom. Everyone else was in the dinning so we spoke, but made sure to keep quiet. I couldn't bare the constant pain and guilt she felt for leaving me behind. It went against everything we know. I knew it was hard for her to walk away but was glad she listened to me. She frowned for a second then smiled.

"Nice to see you haven't lost your gift along with your memory." My eyes widened. I hadn't told her or anyone about that. She helped the bone aline and placed a strong brace to stabilise it, before placing it in a sling thanks to the new fully stocked first aid kits. It wasn't the first time having a broken bone but this was the first time I had help treating it, with the proper equipment. It still hurt like hell though.

"Your lucky you don't have your wolf yet, re breaking an already healing bone is even more painful that the initial break." She mumbled before looking back at me. "Everyone in our pack found out on your first day of school. It's the reason you were bullied, no one liked you outing their true feelings, but at that age you thought you were helping. Your parents kept a close eye on you. You were only allowed to go to school, other than that you stayed in the mansion and spent most of your time training with uncle Zander and-"

"Max." I finished her sentence watching the shock cross her face. I leaned forward with my left hand ruffling her hair the way I saw Max do it. "Left to right then back to left." I whispered as I completed the action. A stray tear slid down her left cheek before she smiled and quickly wiped it away.

"Another dream?" She asked and I nodded. "Come we should start heading back before someone looks for us." Layla said guiding me to the door after smoothing out her frizzy hair.

When we arrived back, we were just in time for clean up. Everyone had began making thier way out of the dinning room. As there was no leftovers today, there were a few howling stomachs coming from us maids.

Five of the girls were instructed to spend the day scrubbing floors, walls and bathrooms. Another five changed sheets, and did laundry while Layla and I were told to join another three maids I hadn't seen before. Stuart followed closely behind us while another two guards lead the way.

When I realised the other two guards happened to be Rachel and the other male guard from the other day, my stomach sank.

Bright warm rays of sunshine stunned me for a moment. I paused waiting for my eyes to adjust to the bright light making Stuart bump into me. His thoughts were clearly elsewhere and not on his surroundings. I used my good arm to brace myself but luckily wasn't injured.
He frowned at me realising I had fallen but made no move to kick me or push me further into the dirt like he would have in the past.

He waited for me to stand before falling back into step behind me.
I took a deep relieved breath enjoying the crisp fresh air that surrounded me. I couldn't help myself from marvelling at the flavours that danced across my tongue, caused by the aromas drifting from the fruits and flowers.

Tangy strawberries, sour passion fruit and sweet oranges along with various vegetables, grew in a large garden surrounded by a large barbed wire fence. Behind the fence stood a dark thick forest that seem to be wrapped around the entire property. Green foliage almost the colour of black ink hid beneath the large sturdy trees, hidden from the suns warm rays. There were no dirt roads or tracks that I could see. No clear escape routes, not that I entertained that thought knowing how futile it would be.
