Viren's POV:Coal had asked to speak to me for a moment while still in the form of Byron, the wolf council leader. I followed politely making sure to look just as confused as everyone else who thought our exchange was strange. Once inside his allocated room, he shut the door.
"Okay so what's the plan now?" Coal asks walking over to the bed. He bends down lifting the ruffle up to reveal a still unconscious Byron.
I smile as her drags him out and places him at my feet. "I need you to close your eyes and relive what Layla saw when you rubbed the illusion cream on her head. Think about the sounds she made, every detail.
As Coal closes his eyes I press my for head to his making him jump back in shock."Coal I don't have all day, don't flatter yourself it's as awkward for me as it is for you." I saw giving him an impatient look.
"I doubt that." He grumbled closing his eyes once more. I see the memory. She was blindfolded and tied to the bed. Her arms and legs pulled open leaving her vulnerable and exposed. "I want you to feel everything I do to you." Coal had spoken the words before Jeff walked in admiring the view. The sick bastard stood there for longer than necessary until Coal had made a move to open the door. I didn't want to see the rest but I had to, in order to project it into the real Byron's mind.
I watched the illusion of Byron clawing off her bra and underwear leaving her in nothing more than scraps of fabric. I memorised the way she shook in fear and the desperation of her screams as he forced himself inside of her, stretching her past her limits as he pounded without care or patience. Watching this, even knowing it was a illusion made bile rise in my throat, but I swallowed it down. This wasn't the place nor time. When it was finally over I moved over to Byrons head leaning against it. I projected the memory exactly how it was, to make him believe it was him all along. I also added an extra memory, one that would explain why he called me into the room to begin with. Coal cut Byrons restraints and sat him up leaning against the bed head.Coal shifted into a fly landing on my shoulder as the real Byron awoke. He smiled at me grateful for the help he thought I gave him. An impatient knock sounded on the door by Jeff making Byron open it.
"Are you alright in here Byron? Jeff asked though he had been looking at me the entire time. He was suspicious.
I grunted looking unpleased as I shook my head, a faint blush covered Byrons cheeks only adding to Jeffs confusion, as well as Margo's who now stood behind Jeff.
"What's going on here? Margo asked no bothering to hide his impatience.
"Yes, well as much as I would love to explain this one, how about I let Byron?" I say turning my attention to him looking annoyed."Well it's a funny story actually.." he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. His next words were whispered just loud enough for The three of us to hear. "I.. ah got my zipper stuck, or rather something delicate stuck in my zipper."
Margo and Jeff's eyes almost bulged out of their head. I knew it was a sight I would be replaying in my mind on the driver home.
"Why pick Viren to help you?" Jeff asked curiously."Simple, you would have had get close and personal, and most likely would have tried to cut it out." Jeff nodded in confirmation which making a disgusted face. "Where as Viren has magic and there was no need to touch me. Sorry Margo he was the slightly less intimidating option."
Margo grinned like I knew he would. It made him feel superior. He thrives on others fear and relished in it any chance he got. "Yes well smart choice there Byron, if it happens again, I'm sure Viren can help you out, after all he has had the practice now." Margo says letting out a genuine chuckle.
"No damage to the merchandise? Will you be okay to use it tomorrow?" Jeffs asks raising his brow.
"No, No, everything is working perfectly fine now. Thanks for your concern. It is something I happen to do frequently I'm afraid." He says waking away from us.
I inwardly let out a breath of relief knowing the hard part of today was almost over. Just as I am ready to leave someone hold out their hand to stop me. I hold I a groan at the man I had been ignoring since I had arrived. My father.
"I didn't expect to see you here today. What are the chances?" He laughs, though I can tell it was forced.
