Chapter 32 - Broken

Jaycee's POV:

We all file in a line through the hallways. I barely get time to react before a sharp pain stabs me in the stomach. A man brushes past me as the needle is pulled out and another is stabbed into Layna before I could process what was happening. The man turns his face towards me while walking beside me, revealing a face I wanted so desperately to punch. Viren.

"Sorry darling, but you'll thank me later for that." His words were rushed before he walked away. I noticed no one but Cassy and Layla had seen him apart from me. He had picked the perfect time to approach, away from the guards watchful eyes and the cameras.
We were split into two groups, and blindfolded. When our blindfolds were removed I was surprised to see many doors scattered along the walls of a luxurious lounge room. Jeff was standing with two vampires, two werewolves and two wizards. One being Viren.

"Good afternoon ladies, please allow me to introduce to you, some very important guests of mine. You will each be escorted by one of us into one of these rooms. It would do you good to get comfortable and familiar with your allocated partner. Make no mistake, we have shown you kindness and expect our rules and requests to be followed. Don't worry you will only ever spend time with the same person.
Nervs had my hands shaking, anticipation for what was to come had bile threatening to rise in my throat. I felt so sick.
This was it. The last peace of me,that I held onto so tightly, is going to be forcefully removed from me. No amount of papering, bathing and makeovers will make up for what I am about to loose. "No." The word escaped my lips just above a whisper drawing everyone's attention onto me and my shaking hands. The girls who liked my way had sympathy and pain in their eyes, where as all the guys in the front had excitement so intense it only added to my desire to throw up. All but one. Viren. His face looked smooth, cold and not a emotion in sight, however once I connected with his eyes I felt it. His sadness, his pain and his guilt. Why was he feeling guilty?

Viren stepped forward and evil looking smirk crossing his face. One that didn't match his true feelings. "Blue, let's not ruin everyone else's fun tonight. I will be your partner. Please.. follow me." I glanced over to Jeff and the man between Jeff and Viren. They both felt angry, agitated and extremely jealous, though neither of them objected. A shiver made its way up my spine at the amount of horrible feelings bouncing around the room. I hurriedly walked to catch up with Viren. I knew no matter how angry I felt, he was the better of all the evils here tonight.
He stepped up to the first room on the left and I halted in my tracks. This room is the same room he had taken me to a few times now. I recognised the exact same view from the window. Even the small of this room was of me. I frowned realising o one else by Viren and I had stepped foot in here. My frown deepens when I realised I didn't know his scent. he must have been masking it somehow.

I noticed Viren didn't bother to lock the door, The thought constantly nagging me.
"Jaycee." The way he said my name sent shivers down my spine, but to my surprise they weren't the ones I had felt earlier. These ones seemed to quell the sick feeling in my stomach. Only just. I also noticed he only called me by my name when we were in private. He called me Blue in front of the others.

"Jaycee." He repeated drawing me out of my thoughts. I nodded but didn't trust my voice to reply. " I'm sure you have worked out what is expected of you today. I just wanted to say that I promise to make it as comfortable as possible."

My eyes rows shoot up in surprise for two reasons. One, how can anyone make rape comfortable? And two, he actually wanted to try make this better for me. Why? It didn't make any sense.

I jumped up suddenly when Jeff entered the room. Viren didn't do much as flinch as though he had been expecting his intrusion. Jeff sent me a evil smile while holding up a large needle. "Blue, don't be scared of this needle, it will only hurt for a moment. It's what it does you should be afraid of."
"Jeff, just get it over with, you're interrupting my fun." Viren says casually though I could see the anger and annoyance simmering in his eyes.
Jeff approached. I took a step back cursing when Viren moved his hand halting my movments. I had no control of my body as Jeff stick the needle in my neck. Once the clear fluid was running through my veins m Jeff left. Viren let go of his control over me and locked the door. He then also said a spell of some sort, that cloaked the walls and doors in a blue colour.
"There, everything in here is now soundproof, and no one will interrupt us without our approval."
"You have some nerve!" I say letting my anger show. I know you did something to my memories I just don't know what. I will figure it out Viren. You know I will."

He gritted his teeth before weaving his evident frustration. "It seems I underestimated you once, it won't happen again." Viren says though I don't know what I did.
"What was that needle?" I ask wanting to change the subject.
"It's meant to confuse your wolf into believing I am you mate." He says taking a step closer. "I'm not meant to be tellig you this but I think you will find out eventually anyway and you deserve to know."

"Know what?" I say calmly realising I wanted as much information as he can give me.

"We are not simply in here for the fun of it, I am to impregnate you. Everyone in that room belongs to the witch, vampire or wolf councils. There are also other less important members occupying the other group of maids and bed warmers, but you are the ones who show the most potential. They are building an army.

"They?"

"I meant we." Guilt shone in his eyes. His feeling and actions confused me as they didn't match up.
"Well I doubt that injection will work on everyone. We are special after all, as you said."

"Jaycee never underestimate the enemy." Viren took a step closer until he stood before me. "Take off your coat."

"No" I say firmly. There was no way I was going to make this easy for him.

Viren sighed before waving his hand. In a flash the coat was on the ground and my black lace underwear, sheer stockings and heels were on display. My wavey blue hair cascaded down my back and luckily also covered my breasts. With another flick of his hands my arms rose, secured by soft leather cuffs attached to the ceiling.

Surprise shone in his eyes as his eyes racked up the length of my body. A warmth caressed my skin where his eyes left a trail. I looked up surprised to see genuine desire and an intense thirst in his beautiful blue orbs. "No Jaycee, file blue eyes!" I cursed at myself.

His fingers reached up, gently moving my blue waves from obscuring his vision of my breasts. As his fingers brushed my hair over my shoulders, they went on to caress my neck, making a trail down my cleavage. He grabbed my breasts at the same time his tongue darted out making a moan escape my lips before I could hold it back. Electric sparks traveled to my core making it dampen and pulse with need.

"Mate." I heard Frost growl but shrugged it off. Clearly we weren't immune to that injection.

"You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." His words were whispered on my neck making my hairs rise. Surly if I was looking into his soul I would see through his lies, but a part of me wondered if he spoke the truth.

Squeezing my nipples, he sucked on my soft flesh leaving hickies where the skin was smooth and blemish free. What I didn't expect was him to graze he sharp teeth along my neck stopping at my pulse. I was in too much of a daze to question why his teeth were sharp, I only knew they felt good.

His hand came up and cupped me over my underwear. The warmth and pressure of his touch had my pussy clenching. He pulled away turning towards the far wall. I stared at his back as he took a few deep steading breaths. He waved his hand and my body crumpled. He caught me just before I hit the ground.

To my surprise, he helped me dress into the long coat that covered everything from head to toe. "They are going to know I didn't penetrate you, and then we will both be in trouble. I need you to make it convincing. You hate me remeber?"

I looked up confused by his words, only for him to throw a white powder into my eyes. I squinted them shut not understanding why they stung so badly. I tried and failed to blink them away. Countless tears streamed down my cheeks as we exited the room. I opened my eyes to see the other girls were also making there way into a single line.

Sniffling and blinded by my tears I stumble into someone. As I look up I see Layla and my heart breaks into a million pieces. Every ounce of pain and loss barrels into me as our eyes connect. She quickly squeezes her eyes shut to spare me from her pain, and turns away from me. I grip her hand like my life depends on it. Holding tightly as they blindfold us, we are returned to our cold hard cells.

At least we were finally alone.
