Virens POV:

After Coal and I were shown to our rooms, I had plans on showering, however a strong tug in my head, had me feeling drowsy. I recognised the signs before reaching my bed. I pulled out a small vile. It was one of many I had taken from my mother before I left home. I hoped she wouldn't notice it as the last thing I wanted, was to have to explain my reasonings for taking it.
I brought the pink liquid to my lips, downing every drop before my head rested on the pillow. It only took seconds to work, pulling me under its intense hold. I had been visiting Jaycee in her dreams since I swiped the vile from my mothers vast collection. I always made sure to wear my red leather jacket, hood up covering most of my face, and black boots before sleeping. She would see me exactly as I slept. I didn't want her to recognise me as Viren. Only as the vigilante she still thought didn't really exist.
When the time came, I needed her to recognise me as a friend, and be able to trust me. It was the only way to gain her trust. It also came in useful. She would tell me about her day and sometimes a little about the memories she was still recovering of her past. It was surprising how quickly she regained her memories. The process tends to be slow for most people sometimes taking months or even years to regain everything.
I awoke to Coal shaking me. "Hey man are you okay? You fell asleep and I have been trying to wake you for a few minutes now."

I cursed remembering what she had told me. I rubbed my hand down my face as I stood up.
"What's that look for? What could have possibly changed in the small time you took a nap?" Coal's gaze was calculating as he looked me up and down as I began pacing the room. He took in the room around us. A large window took up most of the wall opposite the entry. A small door leading to an ensuite was to the right, the bed to the left against the wall. He walked up to the bedside table noticing the vile I had used. Picking it up he read the label. "Dream weaving potion." Just as the words left his mouth, Alexa appeared at the door way. Her expression didn't give anything away however I know she would have been able to hear us since Coal had left the door open.
"Dinner will be ready in half an hour, we brought it forward, assuming you must be hungry after all your travels."

"Thank you Luna Alexa, but we truly didn't mind. We don't want to oppose."

"It's no problem. I'll leave you two to.. talk." She said before exited the room, not bothering to close the door. I walked over ensuring to flick the lock. Looking around I also made sure the window was closed.
"Make sure to close the door next time." I hissed at Coal under my breath. "I'm going to take a shower." I gather my spare clothes, identical to the ones I'm wearing now. It was part of my alias and I need to maintain appearances.
I always have my hood up, and if I'm ever caught without my red eyes I have black sunglasses designed to temporarily get me out of trouble. Knowing I couldn't drink any more blood for the remainder of the weekend, I would need it before making the trip back to Jeff's pack, or my eyes wouldn't be back to their usual blue.
Steam fill my lungs as the hot water rained over my tired muscles. My beast seemed relaxed but both our thoughts keep returning to the blue hair beauty we had to leave behind. Unable to get her out of my mind, I turn the water off, dried off and got dressed. It was dinner time now and I had a feeling I'd be sharing more than I wanted to.
Roast deer rested on some butter mash, smothered in mushroom sauce, and a side of fresh vegetables sat before me. Coal to my left had moaned taking a mouthful after Zander and Alexa began eating. My senses had returned full force since arriving here thanks to all the blood I had been drinking before now. The delightful smell of the food had my stomach growling. It had been a long while since I remebered how truly pleasant it was to be enjoy such things.

The Beta named Ed approached the table before taking a seat. At the same moment Alessia appeared in a ball of smoke. I forcefully remained calm not allowing my muscles to tense at the thought of my half brother joining us. luckily he wasn't accompanying her this evening.
