Salvator's POV:
I approach Serg releasing him from my control, only maintaining my power over Crim and Jet. "Now's your chance to explain your innocence." I say crossing my arms over my chest. Serg's eyes widened in shock. No doubt he was wondering who I was and how I know about him.
Alessia runs at Crim throwing a energy ball my way knocking me off balance. The break in my concentration released the others from my hold. The two vamps growled angrily at me. I raised my hands in a surrendering gesture.
"I can't have you two killing one of my undercover informants now can I?" I say making them frown. Serg tilts his head, his gaze attempting to penetrate my walls. "Before you ask, he knows not of my identity. All you need to know is he was undercover helping his granddaughter."
"Is that true?" Crim asks wanting to believe his father.
Serg scoffs. "Of course it's true! Do you think I would have harmed Sadie? She's my little girl as much as she is yours, son. I couldn't tell you about it without possibly blowing my cover and risking you acting out of impulse. The morons expected me to Rape her not at all realising who she was to me."
"Where is she now?" Jet asked, struggling to conceal the desperation in his voice.
"Don't worry, she will come to us when she is ready. I know she escaped trying to help a friend flee. Her memories and powers seemed to have returned."
The shock on Crim, and the relief on Jet's face was priceless.
"Where is Jaycee?" Zander asks his mate as she recovered from her initial shock."She wasn't where we expected her to be." Zanders sharp gaze raised to meet mine. I couldn't handle the disappointment shinning in his glassy eyes. Coal moved from behind me picking something up of the floor. I paid him no attention, unable to pull myself from my spiraling thoughts. I failed them, but more Importantly.. I failed her.
Jaycees POV:
As the darkness gave way to light, my eyes landed on a familiar pair of blood red orbs. Excitement and relief were the main emotions shinning brightly within them. Her short black hair and the thin green streak that ran through it, sat messy on her head. I was sure I looked much the same. My hands raised to my blistered throat, the puckered skin tender from the silver collar that no longer restricted my airways.
"They're healing already." Sadie said watching the blisters disappear before her eyes. "Perk of being able to choose what I'm transporting. Could try bring you naked next time but thought you wouldn't appreciate that."
"Yeah not so much. Thanks for getting me out of there." I reply gratefully. My body began to sweat, as my skin becomes increasingly hot, and I wonder if it was a side effect from the wolfsbane running through our system.
"Nice to have you back Frost." I say to my wolf, feeing her ever growing presence. She had been quiet trying to fight against the silver and wolfsbane in our system. We may have the ability to heal from it however it still took a lot of energy to do so, and having both to fight against only slows down the healing process.
She whimpers for a second in my mind. "Thanks to Sadie I feel better now." She says puffing our her chest and shaking out her fur.
"What happened once you left, Sadie?" I ask before looking around at the small cleaning closet we stood in. Sweat began to cling to my flesh making me feel uneasy, but Sadie hadn't seemed to notice."After Stuart escorted Cassy, Layla and I to your old cell, I tried and failed to use my powers. After a long while Layla noticed something on the back of my collar. She said she remebered reading something about a stone and proceeded to pull a page from her bra. Apparently it was one you stole from Jeff's witch Renalda.
