Jaycee's POV:
The morning sun began to rise casting its warmth along the blades of grass, and between the sturdy branches rustling high above the forest floor.
Through the open window, stunning shades of gold and bronze lightened the horizon, turning the once onyx sky, into shades of lilac and azure. The breeze carried the scent of wild flowers, as well as the familiar buzzing sound originating from my mothers beloved honey bees, as they flew from flower to flower collecting their pollen for the day.I sighed in content, sitting by the window waiting for Viren to emerge from the bathroom into something that actually fit him. In our short time in front of the mirror, I had managed to teach him how to block or rather zone out all the pack noise and feel for the most important messages. I taught Viren how to focus on one at a time and how to block them out completely. Those desperately needing to contact us in an emergency, would feel more like an annoying buzzing in our ear, so we were aware if something was urgent. Lucky for me he was a fast learner.
Viren searched five minutes, before finding his beloved globus and retreating back into the bathroom. It was the item I was entranced by when I first met my mate.
He would often refer to it as a golf ball, around non magic wielding folk, and I couldn't help but laugh at his relieved expression, as it slid along his fingers like a long lost friend."Jaycee, I need you to come to my office.. or rather your new office, there is much we need to discuss now that you are Alpha." My fathers words sounded stressed as they traveled through the link. "Better bring Viren along too." He sighed. "You know, now that you are mated."
I suck in a harsh breath instinctively ending the link with my father. I had shut that door so fast it would have made him stumble if he wasn't sitting. My parents know. The entire pack knows of course, but there was something so much more embarrassing knowing your parents know.
I approach the bathroom door about to nock, however Viren opened it before I had the chance. I jaw drops taking in my mate.
His hair was shorter, styled with a product I wouldn't know the name of. He wore black slacks, a ironed white t-shirt and a black leather jacket in comparison to his signature maroon when he dressed like Salvatore. Not to mention Salvator sometimes went without a shirt.
His leather jacket contrasted beautifully against the purple shine of his eyes and hair. He looked as though he stepped out of a fancy magazine. One I wouldn't even know the name of.Viren moved impossibly close, his alluring scent doing nothing to clear my mind from its hypnotic haze as it turned my brain into mush. He growled huskily leaning closer to my ear.
"Keep looking at me like that mate, and I'll have to devour the sweet juices from between your-"
I gasp stopping his words. His words although true, were enough to snap me out of my trance. A blush brightening my cheeks as the scent of my arousal fills the room. Viren's eyes fell to my lips and I caught the desire swirling deep within them.
"We.. ah.. we need to go." I say breathlessly before turning towards the door. The action no doubt looking as hesitant as I felt. As my hand touches the handle, Viren turns me around, pinning me against the warmth of his body and the wall.
His breathing was heavy before his lips took mine in a passionate kiss. My panties dampened upon his demand, my core throbbing with a need to be filled, to be stretched to accommodate every inch of him.I moaned at his electrifying touch, the sound loud even to my own ears. I was loosing control and rational thoughts with every second that passed.
The moment his lips move along my jaw and down my neck, he tore my top open revealing the thin black laced push up bra I was saving for later. The sound of buttons bouncing on the floorboards filed my ears, but I didn't care to pay attention to them. Arching my back, Viren pulled my breasts out of the delicate lace, before latching on to my nipples.
