Viren's POV:

Coal and I had woken up early and eaten a light breakfast in the empty dinning hall. I know it's a bad idea to eat before training, however we got stuck into training with Ember and River last night and were too tired to eat before bed.

To my surprise a empty glass began to fill its self with blood as I took a seat. My eyebrows raised in surprise but I was too thirsty to stop to question it. Knowing the Luna, this was her doing. I could get used to this.

"No way!" Coal whispered taking a seat besides me. I look to my right to see an odd looking glass. The bottom of it held liquid the colour of tar, and the top two thirds looked a dark red with bubbles spilling over the rim.

I raised a brow waiting for Coal to elaborate. He did only after taking a sip and moaning loudly in the quiet dinning room attracting three guys attention in the process. "This is the best day of my life!"

"Relax Coal, your attracting attention." I say eyeing the three guys as they snickered to eachother like immature school boys. They looked to be around nineteen.

"Sorry Sal it's just that I've been craving one of these drinks since my arrival. The bottoms is made by crushing a special type of rock found near my mothers village. It's extremely rare and full of minerals for.. ah people.. like me."

I nod in understanding as Coal continues. He leans in closer whispering. "The top is kind of close to a raspberry fizzy drink with a diluted drop of lava. It's the heat making it bubble and the combination of gases mixing with the crushed rock that gives it a certain.. kick."

"So you're saying it's a type of alcohol where your from?" I ask suddenly interested in the odd concoction.
Coal stiffened. I look ahead to see the three boys walking over to us. "Hey im Chris." The middle guy introduces himself. "To my right is Mace and this is Chase."

"Hi I'm-"

"Yeah wolf hearing and all. I head Mr red leather call you Coal, and you call him Sal." Chris says cutting Coal off making Mace and Chase snicker. I raise a brow not bothering to correct them.

"Well actually his name-" Chris cuts Coal off for a second time, with a impatient wave of his hand. These fools had no idea who they are disrespecting. My beast could drain them dry before they even realised I moved, and Coal being faster than I, could have there heads rolling from their bodies before blinking.

"That's not important I just came here when I heard you had alcohol. The Luna hardly uses her magic for things like this unless she is celebrating something, care to share?"

Coal and I both share a confused and unimpressed look. "How would we-"

"No, I didn't mean care to share what the celebration is, I meant your weird looking alcohol."

"No." Coals reply was short, no doubt not wanting to be cut off again.

"No?" Chris repeats looking taken back.

"Does no one ever say no to this guy?" I say to Coal purposefully ignoring the three guys.

Chris clenches his fists as Coals smirks. "Guess that explains their lack of manners. Chris, let me put this simply for you." Coal says talking slowly as if talking to a child. "This is a man's drink, not a boys drink. Go bother someone else."

Chris ignores Coals suggestion, preferring to snatch the drink from the table and take a swig. I didn't bother moving knowing Coal could have easily stopped him had he wanted to.

Chris immediately spits it out the second it touches his lips and tongue, blisters immediately appearing in the surface. "What.. was.. that!"

"That was a lesson. Mind your own business or I'll have to teach you another." Chris glares angrily at Coal but makes the smart decision to leave the dinning hall with his two confused friends trailing behind him.
