Blue's POV:

"I think our last vision answered that, don't you?" As she spoke I saw a image of her in my mind. A beautiful light blue wolf stood proudly swishing her tail elegantly from left to right. Her fur was light in colour but looked very soft and fluffy. Her beautiful eyes held the same shades of ice blue as mine. A shade much closer to white than sky blue. I was absolutely speechless just taking in every feature of her. She was mesmerising.

A hand touched my shoulder startling me. I swear if I jump one more time today I'm going to scream. I looked over to see worry etched on Black's face and realised it was because I hadn't moved a muscle for an entire minute. The water had been running and the last plate sat in my hands. I was so busy marvelling at my wolf in my mind I wasn't paying attention to anything else.

I gave her a reassuring smile before turning off the tap. The next hour was spent sweeping, mopping, drying and packing away dishes. The left over soup was placed into small serving sized containers and placed in the freezer. I wondered why they made so much but couldn't comment or ask about it without getting into trouble.

We were then escorted to a beautiful garden by Stuart and another male and female guard.
"Boss just informed me he wants fried chicken and mash tonight, Blue and Black you're on chicken duty so follow me, the rest of you gather potatoes, broccoli and salad items."

We nod our head before following Stuart to another area behind the side of the building. What I saw next shocked me. I was expecting to see a large outdoor freezer with already cut and cleaned chicken. What I didn't expect was so see a small fenced field with chickens roaming around. Against the building were two gigantic chicken coops which housed at least fifty chickens.

One was for the adults and one was for chicks that were around a month old. In the field, most were roaming around grazing at the grass and dirt, while a handful sat on their straw nests protecting their eggs.

Black quickly walked over to the chicken coop failing at suppressing the smile that currently lit up her face. Before I could wonder what was so amusing, Stuart spoke.

"Right, Black's getting eggs to coat the chicken, so guess your job is to kill them. Go for the roosters we have too many. Around ten should be enough."

My eyes widened and I stood frozen in place. My heart raced frantically beating against my rib cage. "Haha it's been so long since you have done this job, I forgot how funny you are to watch." Stuart's small beer belly jiggled as he laughed catching the attention of a woman guard heading this way.

My eyebrows furrowed at the anger and jealousy she portrayed with each step, and also at the knowledge that I was not going to be able to end a life. These poor animals have no idea what's about to happen.

I turn my back to the two guards and turn my focus on the task at hand. Most of the chickens were white or had a mix of white and black, however one of the roosters looked different from the others. I begin taking slow cautious steps towards the odd smaller one. It was black with beautiful shimmering green feathers that caught the light as it pecked at the grass.

The moment it noticed me, it looked up. What I didn't expect was to feel its emotions. Did my ability work on everyone and every living thing?

I felt it's cautiousness and annoyance at being disturbed, but it wasn't scared. I took a step forward and watched it quickly fly into a small group of three females. He was so much smaller than them, that it would have been too hard to catch him anyway. Sighing I chose another rooster. This one was much larger and might be enough to count as two. If I could save one life, it's better than nothing right?
I looked over to Black watching her amusement towards my situation. Her eyes were glued to mine as she sat inside the chicken coop lesurly gathering eggs.
