Jaycee's POV:

Jason was the first to spring into action, not wasting any time. He charges like an enraged bull, his eyes sharp and calculating while the others watch for any weaknesses Coal may reveal. Coal jumps into the air flipping over Jason at the last second, landing before Jason had the chance to stop. He glares at Coal the moment he realises the soles he is up against. His eyes shift from Coals bare feet, to the top of his now tied back silver hair.

Ember was next to attack, choosing to harness the powers radiating from the hottest of the four waterfalls. The orange stone in the palm of her hand shinned delightfully, as it amplifies her attack. Streams of flame defy gravity as it crackles towards Coal. He easily jumps back dodging Embers attack, while watching as Jason flings one of his chains towards his feet as he lands.
River smiles as she subtly draws tiny droplets looking much like mist from the icy waters behind her, trying her best to go unnoticed.

My attention shifts back to our unfamiliar guest. I frown noticing the slight movements to his lips and the way his head is angled ever so slightly towards Crim who was no where near him earlier. They were whispering something however with all the crackling flames, whipping sounds of chains, falling boulders and shouts from the crowd, it was hard to differentiate.

My mates hand lands on mine squeezing it tightly, and I'm suddenly able to hear their quiet whispers. It is as though my senses were able to focus on where I looked, and able to block out all the background noise.

Viren smirks. "I can feel your frustration and curiosity through our bond. I learned this trick a few decades ago, funny enough it was Margo who taught me, though I believe it's stronger thanks to my beast."

I would have responded had I not picked up on Crim's words. "You have no business here in a wolf pack Eros. Word in the coven is you haven't stepped foot out of your cave in over six hundred years. You didn't even bat an eye at attending any of the more recent Royal births, not even my own... great grandfather."

The man I now know as Eros grunts, annoyance flashing in his eyes. "Don't call me that. It is a title I hold simply for requiring a heir. I was fulfilling my duty as king at the time and couldn't delay any longer. I had no love in my heart for my own child or the woman I chose to impregnate. Your father will testify to that, so I suggest you erase any hope of seeing me after today as anything other than someone who will disappear as quickly as I came. I am here for business only and do not intend on staying. This world has long ago become far too predictable and depressing to expect anything else."

Cheers erupt from the crowd as thick smoke begins to block my view of Crim and Eros. I must admit I was surprised to see Jason, Ember and Rover holding the upper hand agaist Coal who seemed to have been tangled in a mess of chains. Jason held both however the other end were occupied by the other two witches who seemed to have been charging the unbreakable chains with flames and ice causing the loud hissing sounds and smoke to fill the area. Had Coal not seemed so calm I would have began to worry for our friend given the way one of the icy chains tightening around Coals throat.

Coal laid on the sand floor unmoving as the other three attempted to get a submission out of him to no avail. Jason desires to wrap the chains he was holding around one of the boulders near him advising the others to do the same.

"Coal is unable to fight yet not submitting, I say the three of us should get this over with and the winner can deal with forcing Coals hand."

The girls nod agreeing to Jason words. They holding out their weapons of choice towards Jason. Embers stone flashes as flame begins to shoot out in waves, and Rivers wand glows brightly before sending sharp ice arrows towards Jason. He rolls over a boulder using it to take the brunt of the force, the ice arrow melting upon impact with embers spluttering flames. Without the use of his chains he was a sitting duck and everyone knew it. River begins chanting something before a heavy downpour begins, hitting everywhere apart from where she stood. The once light sand now resembled quick sand and even Embers fire power seemed weaker as her stone's light began to splutter out. It wasn't long until Jason and Ember were sinking and found themselves hesitently submitting to her.
