Alexa's POV (continued)

Coal can shape shift. I stood frozen at the realisation, not realising Salvator began walking away. Coal who looked incredibly like Jeff grabbed my elbow before leading me towards a painting. I watched intrigued as Salvators speed hadn't slowed before disappearing through it. I had felt magic lingering in this hallway though hadn't been able to narrow down its location until Salvatore stepped through. I blink my eyes, impressed by the extent of his preparation. A secret like this must have been incredibly hard to discover.

Coal and I step through after Salvator, our pace steady and posture confident. Coal leans in to whisper. "Jaycee is being detained with a handful of guards in the toom to the right. It is a temporary makeshift doctors office."

"You're up! Salvator says pausing his movements. He stands out of site of the guards situated in front of the door. Clocking us, I don't bother to hide, preferring to witness coal in action.

"Why are you two still here? Didn't you morons get my message!" He beams making the guards eyes widen in shock. I was impressed with his impersonation. He has clearly had practice changing his voice to imitate others and it has paid off.

"N.. No Alpha.. sorry we-"

"No excuses! We have intruders on the loose in the pack trying to make there way here! I have requested an emergency meeting in the males toilets."

"The toilets?" One guard asks confused.

"There is a secret room built for situations like these. You will need to step into the third toilet and flush, the water is what triggers the portal. Go!" Jeff yells making the guards scurry away. Salvatore presses himself against the wall as I sidestep, allowing the guards to pass without sensing our presence.
Salvator and I rush ahead the second the last guard is out of view. Eagerly I throw the door open, anticipation and excitement battling against one another before I freeze. Salvator crashes into the back of me, not expecting my sudden drop in speed.

"No.. no this can't be!" Salvatore growls out, realising what I did. "Tell me this isn't happening!" His eyes flash red as he turns and punches a hole into the wall on the left. I had never known Salvator to be this out of control before. Every time I have seen him in the past he was always calculating, leaves headed and in control. The man standing before me was none of those things.
"Where is she? You said my daughter will be here." I say trying to understand what is happening.

I held back the anger and fear flooding in my veins knowing this too was causing Salvator pain, even if I didn't understand why.
"Jeff must have moved her, we need to find Jeff." Salvatore states attempting to regain his composure. I watch his fists clenched and unclench and the struggle he faces attempting to slow down his breathing.
"He was headed towards the hybrid pack members." Coal says turning to us. "The other prisoners should be out by now, so there is nothing more we can do here. Don't worry Salvator, we'll find her." Coal says with a Gerace determination.

Zanders POV:

This was worse than I expected. Alessia, Crim and a handful of our most trustworthy and reliable men and woman hid behind the thick trees silently watching the hybrids of the pack being roughly handled.

I had expected them to be pushed to the ground and forced into a group where the guards could keep an eye on them, however what I was not expecting, was for a few of the guards to stray from their direct orders.

One guard pulled a woman into a near by house, another dragged one into a dark looking side street, and the third guard hadn't bothered to hide his intentions, restraining the woman while attempting to lift her dress. The woman's screams and pleas tugged at my heart strings, as did their mates threats and shouts. One man looked about ready to phase into his wolf before another guard jabbed him with wolfsbane. It was what had been delaying them from fighting back.
