Viren's POV:

"Now that we're alone, are you going to tell me what you guys are up to?"

Coal sighs. "Viren, you know you're my best friend, so as my best friend I'm asking you to please drop it. If I tell you anything I will be going against my mate. Is that something you would do for me?"

My step falters. "No I wouldn't." I admit understanding Coal's predicament. "Well how about you tell me what you are planing of asking for as your prize if you win."

Coal snorts. "What do you mean If?"
"Don't be so cocky." I chide

"No. You will have to wait and see like everyone else.. when I win." Coal emphasises the word when. I clap his back laughing as we take our first step into the arena. We take a sharp intake of breath as our eyes widen unsure of what to take in first.

Over the last week, Jaycee and Layla refused to let Coal and I be involved in this project of theirs. They wanted it to be a surprise.
We were in charge of building forty new houses, two large underground storage rooms, as well as enlarging the packs dinning room and kitchens. Yes, as in more than one. We now have three. We needed to cater for the new members we were accepting today and ensured to have excess.
According to my mate, many new members we were unaware of as yet, will be joining the pack soon. When I asked her for details she shrugged sending her delicate blue waves sliding off her shoulder. I have a strong feeling was all she said. I was not going to doubt her. Not now, not ever.

Our mates were in charge of the new meeting room, or ball room as I call it, and the arena which will also be used as a training field. We thought it a good idea to have a second one, rather than enlarging the previous training facility that was also home to our secret cave. We thought alternating between them will keep the pack from getting bored during our mandatory five day week training schedule. it would also allow us a second training area to seperate young wolves from experienced warriors who are training g at very different levels.

Coal and I made it known we had the harder job despite having many pack members assisting us, however looking before us now, I could see the effort that went into this.

"Wow." I breath out.

"Incredible." Coal whispers beside me.

We felt the magic needed to create this shimmering dome as we took our first step past the threshold. The area was not only huge, it was high. On the outer part of the dome was countless levels in three sections with staircases on the side. The seats were positioned perfectly, allowing viewers to witness everything with ease.

Our shoes sink into the sand that lined the ground. There were four breaks in the viewing stands. One where ice water fell from a height, another with bubbling lava, whistling wind, and the last with heavy rocky soil that rained down like four waterfalls. Separating them all were three stands for on lookers and a small platform for what I assume was for the Alpha's, Luna's and those of high ranks.

"I've never seen a waterfall of wind before." I comment eyeing the strange sight before me.

"Or one of falling boulders. I'd hate to stand under that one." Coal says.

I laugh. "But the one with lava would be fine?" I counter knowingly.

Coal nods eyeing the scorching fast falling flames with longing, as though he was gazing upon a steaming hot spring.

We step forward after a few minutes of gawking, walking straight through the middle of the arena. We head towards a large platform where our mates stood side by side. With everything distracting us we hadn't even noticed our mates.
