Y/N POV
Due to Teemo's sabotage, the school had to close for the rest of the week. Students were sick and the explosions left a lot of the teachers spooked. Local Law Enforcement was now investigating though I doubt they'll find anything useful if Teemo is as good as he's supposed to be. This allowed us to cruise through Tuesday where I was able to spend the latter half of the day working in peace. My stepmom wanted to visit but I told her I had plans. Truth is, I don't want either of my moms to ever meet each other. Dad is still pretty sour about what happened and my stepmom is probably overthinking the whole situation to the point of it being ridiculous. With what hours I did have with them, I was able to come up with a strategy to keep my mom from finding out who these two are.
There's just one issue. Unlike my stepmom, my mom is not the type to hand her baby boy to just any girl. No pressure on Ahri am I right? All Teemo had to do was stay in the extra room and try not to make too much noise. Without him playing the part of a stuffed animal, he just needed to stay out of sight. Easy for him to do so long as he doesn't put himself in the immediate path of people. You'd think this binding would make him act as an ally and let us see him. Nope, not how it works apparently which is stupid. Right now, I was setting up the kitchen for my eventual master chef pancakes. I may have talked them up a little too much since both Ahri and Teemo have expectations now.
Speaking of Ahri, she just came downstairs after taking her shower.
Ahri: Getting used to the whole bathroom thing.
Y/N: You'll hate it when it comes to a public area.
Her face scrunched up in the funniest way. Teemo just cackles like the Teemo he is.
Teemo: Why use a public toilet when you can just poop in a bush?
Y/N: Good luck finding a bush in Dayton. Or any city for that fact.
Teemo: Plenty of trashcans.
Coming from the guy who's physically closer to that of a trash panda, I could totally see him doing that. Ahri then takes a seat at the table with her features still out. She was letting them have their freedom before she hides them away. What kept catching my eye was her outfit today. She wore a silky red long-sleeve shirt and a black skirt that went down to her calf. Going that far down I notice she even painted her toenails black.
Y/N: When did you get makeup?
Ahri: A package came in while you were at work yesterday.
Y/N: Mama?
Ahri: Yep.
She then shows me her matching black fingernails.
Y/N: Must have taken to it like a duck in water.
Ahri: I actually figured out how to use your PC to find a video on how to do it. I'm a good visual learner.
I can only imagine why my stepmom would give her this stuff. Chances are it had something to do with me. Red would've worked better in my opinion as it would be matching her facial markings. It does make her look a little bit more pretty which I didn't think was possible but here we are. I quickly look at the clock and see it was almost lunchtime. Mom was going to be here any minute now. I don't know how long her drive is as she moves around a lot. I doubt she even lives in Dayton anymore. Probably for the best though it would be better if she just left Ohio. Trying to avoid hearing the news about all the crap that happens here is probably like trying to avoid drunk people in Ireland. It just doesn't work that way even if you never turn on the news channel.
Teemo then hops up on the table just to randomly boop Ahri on the nose.
Teemo: You're staring a lot.
