Third Person POV

As the crown formed around his head, Y/N's eyes changed to that ruined green a resistance began to fade from his body. Viego kneels down at the ledge of the nearest building as he watches the boy stand there like a zombie.

Viego: What I offer isn't pain but release, freedom, and salvation. I can bring your family together. I can even reunite you with your grandparents. You will not have to suffer anymore. Isn't this what you want?

Y/N nods his head slowly, making Viego grin.

Viego: Then come. The fetters no longer matter to me, not when there is a much greater power within you. Isolde betrayed me in the end. This time, she will not.

Y/N: As... you... command... your Highness...

However, luck was on the poor boy's side as both Teemo and Gwen rushed to his. While this was happening, both Riven and Rakan fought their own desperate battles with Rakan facing Karthus for the second time and Riven going against Kalista.

The Charmer was blown off the side of a cliff and into the waters below. With his acrobatic capabilities though, he was able to avoid taking serious damage from the rocks. As he hops out of the water and onto one of those rocks, Karthus floats down with his chorus of death and sorrow.

Rakan: Christ, that tune is awful.

Karthus: Rich coming from someone with all style and no substance.

Rakan gasps in shock, offended that none of his moves had substance.

Rakan: You gonna pay for that one dead man!

Rakan uses his Gleaming Quill but Karthus easily dodges it. Ghouls then emerge from the waters below in some creepy attempt to pull Rakan into his watery grave. He jumps away though and lands on the wall with Karthus quickly casting Lay Waste at that location. Rakan then flips upward and uses the force of the explosion to propel himself up. Mid-jump, he throws two more quills down. This time, Karthus blows them away with Defile and chases Rakan up. Being able to fly worked in his favor as he quickly caught up to the Charmer and grabbed him by the ankle. Karthus then slings him back toward the ocean where a couple of winged wraiths lay in wait to snatch him.

Rakan wasn't able to do much with them constantly pulling and clawing at him in midair. Eventually, he got his legs loose and put them around the first wraith's head and used it as a weight as he broke its neck. The second wraith couldn't hold both of them and decided to let go. When it did, Rakan spins the other wraith around and sends it right into the second wraith. This unfortunately did not address his new issue which was the waters below. Karthus saves Rakan though by catching him by the neck. With Defile active and the iron grip around his neck, Rakan was beginning to sustain heavy damage.

Karthus: Why do you resist my song, Vastayan? Isn't it in your culture to listen and feel the music?

Rakan: You don't know... the half of it...!

Karthus: Oh, but I think I do. I saw it in our last encounter. You have a lover, don't you?

Karthus makes sure to tighten his grip as he didn't actually want a response. Rakan attempts to break the hold with a kick but had the staff jabbed into his thigh. Karthus then lowers them both to the water and allowed Rakan's talons to dip into the water. Ghouls then come up, grabbing and clawing him. Due to this, Karthus was forced to lower Rakan deeper into the water.

Karthus: Is it so hard for living people to accept that death is merely the beginning? It's so easy to accept and perform. Knowing that things would be better on the other side, more people should be eager to allow death to take them when it pleases.
