Y/N POV

The moment daybreak hit the war resumed. I don't know how Yasuo and Culvix made this place last so long. The Noxian army was huge! The castle's natural defenses were holding up well but the area where the camps were was just a warzone now. Taking those camps merely bought us some time. In just four days, we were pushed right back to the castle. Culvix did what he could to make sure their artillery wouldn't tear the place apart. Karma on her own was worth a thousand soldiers but Noxus seemed to have a million. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the game world was working like World of Warcraft at this point. Enemy spawns and all of that stuff I would prefer to have on our side.

While Ahri and Kai'sa were with the melee fighters holding the frontline at our door, I helped the archers to take out who we could and my aim was seriously improved. I'll never sleep on Galeforce here. If there was one good thing to be had, I was making a lot of gold and EXP really fast.

Archer: Look out!

We were all alerted to the catapult shot heading right for us. I dived out of the way, avoiding most of the resulting destruction but I was seriously dizzy. It felt like the whole planet just shook with me at the center of it all. One of the archers then helps me to get under a roof. I would need the recovery time. Xanders then comes up and kneels next to me.

Xanders: Are you alright lad?

Y/N: Yeah, I'm not hurt.

Xanders: The castle itself will last a long time but it can be overrun. That kind of firepower will completely tear our defenders apart.

Y/N: Do you know of anything we can do?

Xanders: I have an item I save for rainy days. There's just one problem. It won't be so friendly when it comes out.

There's only one thing in the game he's referring to. What disturbed me is why and how did he have it.

Y/N: How much?

Xanders: This one is on me, lad. We just need to get it further from us and closer to Noxus.

Kai'sa and Kennen are much faster than the rest of us. The issue is that they'll have a hard time getting that far and out once they're in.

Y/N: Give it to me. I'll get it out there.

Xanders: Be careful lad.

He places the item in my inventory and it's exactly what I thought it was. It was an Eye of the Herald. The only difference in the description was that the Rift Herald isn't labeled as allied. With it in hand, I run down to the front gate where the heart of the current chaos was. Seeing it firsthand, I was actually thinking I would be scared to death. Thankfully, just about everyone was down here.

Irelia: If we cannot gain any ground from here, we're finished!

Shen: When will reinforcements arrive?

Kennen: It shouldn't be but a few more hours.

That's way too long. Who knows if we'll even be alive but that point. One of the Noxian soldiers breaks through the defense line and for some reason targets me, the furthest one in the back. Thankfully, after four days of constant war, my nerves toughened up so when he takes his swing, I dodged out of the way and stabbed him through the neck. The next guy who tried to get through was either killed by Yasuo or Karma, the latter of which noted my presence.

Karma: What are you doing here boy?

Y/N: I've got a package but we need to get it closer to their side than ours.
