Teemo POV

As expected when Kai'sa put her suit on Poppy was concerned. I waved it off as it being part of her magic and that it was just unique. That didn't put her worries to rest quite yet but she'll see later. Speaking of Kai'sa she was way ahead of us. She was so eager to get back to the city that she didn't bother waiting for us. I don't blame her but I can tell she's in a state of panic. Maybe even denial. Yeah, I remember the talk we had a while ago about her loving Y/N. It sure seems like that at least in some way. I would hope so cause I really want her to never live this down.

Poppy: So... she's a suit user mage... thing?

Teemo: It's a carapace that she recently obtained mastery over. It was thanks to her binding mark actually. It does a lot of convenient stuff. Minus taking away most of my magic.

Poppy: How do you know you lost it?

Teemo: Testing, obviously.

She hummed sadly for a moment but I wave it off.

Teemo: It's no big deal. I get to travel the world with some cool folks. Even if some of them annoy me.

Poppy: Kai'sa?

Teemo: What is that easy?

She giggles before looking in the direction of the city. This made me stop as she did as well.

Teemo: Something wrong?

Poppy: Just thinking.

Teemo: About?

Poppy: Kai'sa seems to really care about Y/N. I kinda feel that same energy from you.

Oh boy, I can sense where this is going. Stay strong Teemo.

Teemo: Yeah. I care. I care a lot. One of the other members happens to be a lover of his.

Poppy looks back at me and nods a little.

Poppy: I hope he scored big thanks to you.

Teemo: Big is an understatement.

We both smile at one another before walking again.

Poppy: What's your view of Y/N, if you don't mind me asking?

Teemo: W-well...

That's not a hard question to answer. It was just really hard to say. Y/N... He reminds me too much of Mikoo. A newborn bird whose ability to fly is dictated by his strength of heart, a heart all too easily broken. I wasn't the best dad in my first life. Actually, I wouldn't say I was that much different from Harrison. The only difference is that I was a man and not a beta. Mikoo was always the hardest child for me to take care of. It was only after the sixth or seventh time did I finally earn the right to be his father.

Teemo: Just a friend that needs help... He definitely needs it now.

Poppy: Is there a reason you're not as serious about it as Kai'sa?

Teemo: We're polar opposites. Y/N needs time to recover from his previous situation and he'll get more than what he needs in there. Unless he gets treated wrong. Kai'sa wants him out ASAP whereas I am taking my time with it. That's not to say I'm not worried though.

Poppy: You gonna try and calm Kai'sa down then?

And beat my head up against that brick wall? Absolutely not. It might do some good to slow her down though. How I'm going to do that is up for debate though.

Teemo: Let's cross that bridge when we get there. We should be closing in on our destination.

We pick up the pace and jump into the nearest set of bushes. We then use those bushes to move through the trees and closer to the camps. When we got a closer look, well, we were a little concerned. These guys were armed to the teeth and had no clear allegiance. To bandit looking for that. This bakes the question of whether these guys were supplied by a higher power or not.
