Arc II - Chapter 30

Third Person POV

The skeletal hand around Y/N's throat tightens immediately, nearly crushing his windpipe but since he still had free hands, Y/N uses Ki Burst to stun Thresh. The Chain Warden drops him to the ground and Y/N desperately crawls away. Taliyah was the first to break free of her fear and uses her Threaded Volley. Much to their horror, Thresh was basically taking no damage. As the stun ended Thresh looked up slowly and laughed.

Thresh: Struggle all you want, in the end, you'll all belong to me.

Teemo: Nah uh! I like living!

Teemo then fires a Blinding Dart at Thresh but the latter dodges it and sends his hook flying toward Y/N. Taliyah raises some rocks in front of Y/N to protect him and allow him to get away. Thresh decides to take advantage of the rock he just got and pulls it toward him. Ezreal looks behind him and down the hole. They were in a horrible position.

Ezreal: We need to move!

Thresh throws the rock at them and they scatter like cockroaches. The rock goes over the side and down into the hole, making a loud crash against the wall. Ezreal then uses his Essence Flux Mystic Shot combo for A LITTLE bit of visible damage. Thresh chuckles and uses his Flay on the ground, attacking the group with the rocks below. While Taliyah and Teemo were alright the same couldn't be said for Ezreal and Y/N who took the brunt of the attack. Just as Teemo hit Thresh with a Poison Dart, the Chain Warden suddenly flashed toward the Yordle and slammed his lantern on his head. Y/N noticed his damage was relatively lower so he had to have swapped to a full tank build. If that was the case, the chances of them winning were actually much higher.

Poor Teemo though. The big bonk to the head actually stunned him. Thresh uses this as a chance to get creative. He uses his Death Sentence on Teemo but instead of pulling him Thresh swings him around and goes to slam him on Taliyah. While she is able to dodge, the force of the slam knocked her off her feet. Ezreal fires a few auto attacks at Thresh for very little damage and this earned him a snowball to the face. When he regained vision Thresh had already wrapped his chain around the boy's neck and pulled it, nearly snapping his neck. He probably would've gotten a kill but Y/N was able to swallow his fear and dived at Thresh with Powerball. Y/N was going to follow this up with Wither but he didn't have it available at the ready so he went to try and quick switch to it. This was a bad move cause his quick switch was sloppy and Thresh was able to wait out the stun and capitalize with a backhand.

With the sheer size and strength of the Chain Warden Y/N gets sent pretty far through the air. What hurt him most was the way his back slid across the hard sandy ground. He couldn't take too many more hits as he had no method of healing at the moment aside from Warmog's unique passive and he had already lost over half his health. Taliyah then raises up two stone walls and attempts to crush Thresh between them. He just put his hands out and stopped them. Ezreal and Teemo then get on the open sides with Teemo throwing a pair of mushrooms and Ezreal using his combo again. They then begin to shoot at him with just their auto attacks with only Teemo doing any real damage. Thresh just laughs it off and activates an item that Y/N immediately recognized as Gargoyle Stoneplate.

The size increase made the already eight feet tall monster 25% bigger. He then casually rips the rock walls from the ground and throws one at Ezreal. Ez uses his Arcane Shift to get out of the way but in his panic, he doesn't stick the landing properly. Thresh then attempts to crush Teemo under the second one but misses. Y/N then fires a ranged auto from his Void Staff, making Thresh turn to him. Taliyah takes advantage of this and knocked the rock wall out of his hand with Seismic Shove. Y/N fires another attack from afar before running in with Shoulder Bash. He follows it up with a stab to the abdomen with Eclipse. If it was anyone else, they may have been killed by that but Thresh only took a little bit of damage. Before the stun ended though, Y/N used Wither to slow Thresh down so he could blow the Warden back with Palm Blast safely.
