Rakan POV

Once I got her calmed down enough, at least calm in the sense that she wasn't gonna kill anyone, Ahri became weak in the knees and fell to the ground. It was sad seeing her so close to breaking down over something she didn't have any control over. I pop the ear pods out and stash them away with the phone so that I can hear voices properly.

Rakan: As I said. Just go with the flow.

Ahri: I can't... It'll just happen again...

Rakan: That's cause you're not letting yourself be free in it.

Ahri: You wouldn't understand Rakan!

Okay, that one made me step back a bit. She must be referring to that feeling like a monster stuff she had problems with before. She REALLY cannot stop thinking about that, can she?

Rakan: You're right. I wouldn't. What I do know is that you didn't take my advice on the matter. Just know that you're not entirely at fault here.

Ahri: I am! I...

Ahri looks over to Sonya who had a bloody lower face due to the large cut she had. Just from reading the expression, I knew Sonya was more concerned rather than scared. Unfortunately, Ahri thought the opposite.

Ahri: I hurt her...! I hurt my friend...! When Y/N sees her he'll-

Rakan: Hey hey! Let's not go that far!

I tried reaching for her but she slapped my hand away and crawls back. The moment I tried that emotion reading thing she specializes in I was immediately kicked out. It was like a thousand voices screaming at me. Except, they weren't aimed at me, rather they were aimed at Ahri.

Sonya: Ahri-

Ahri: N-No, I don't want to hear it!

She gets up and starts to flee. I almost gave chase but stopped after the first few steps. I knew leaving her on her own was a bad idea, one that I wouldn't let Xayah make even if she went off the deep end. So I stood there, letting her run away.

Dustin: Rakan... Why...

I turned around and saw Dustin storm up to me, ready to punch me in the face. He didn't though. He did grab me by the cloak though.

Dustin: Why didn't you stop her!?

Rakan: She needs time. We can't give her that.

Dustin: Bullshit! There's plenty we can do to help her!

Rakan: No, there isn't. Besides, we're all technically at fault for this.

Before he could say something else Petra pulls his arm away from me and starts to calm him down. While she did that I stepped over to Sonya and hovered my hand close to her face.

Rakan: Hold still for a moment.

After a moment, a warm glow emits from my hand, forcing the wound to close. Unfortunately, I couldn't do much about the scar. Ahri's bullet scars healed up due to the ingame healing being different from... real-life healing. My magic doesn't have that ingame effect anymore so Y/N will eventually see the scar and hear about this whole ordeal. Still need the clean the blood off though.

Rakan: Better?

Sonya: Yeah... thanks.

I nod and hold my hands way above my head, clapping once. This got the other two's attention.

Rakan: I said I would explain after I calmed her down and I technically did. You might not like what I have to say though.

Petra: We'll worry about what we like afterward. We just need to know what's going on and help her with it.
