Ahri POV
The quesadillas Lydia made were really good and I was quite happy to hear that cheese wasn't the only ingredient that could be put in. I planned on having mine with steak next time. It wasn't even that hard to make either so even I could do it, hopefully. The biggest thing at the table though...
Rakan: Oh mama these things are good!
Our new member was in high spirits again, or at least, that's what it looked like. He really liked the food which was one thing.
Kai'sa: They are good.
Teemo: Could use some mushrooms.
Ahri: Absolutely not.
Teemo giggles like the gremlin he is so I bap him with my tail end. I then turned my attention back to Rakan as he finished his plate.
Rakan: Hoo, that was delicious. I might need more.
Ahri: Don't eat too much Rakan. You'll get an upset stomach and we need to know if you're allergic to anything.
Rakan: Allergies? Pfft! Those aren't real.
Teemo: Give me just one minute.
Ahri/Kai'sa: No!
Teemo throws his hands up with a tilted head. I'm glad Kai'sa picked up on Teemo's shenanigans quickly cause I can't babysit that dollar store Ewok all the time.
Kai'sa: So Rakan, how are you feeling now that you've eaten?
Rakan: Almost better.
Kai'sa: Almost?
Rakan: Well, I still kinda lack an idea of this world or what's going on. All I know is that if I remained sad about everything, I ain't gonna want to understand it.
We all looked at one another and then back to Rakan.
Ahri: Just like that?
Rakan: Yep.
Kai'sa: That easily?
Rakan: Yahuh.
There was a moment of silence before Teemo spoke up.
Teemo: So what you're saying is you have quicker mood swings than a girl on her period.
Ahri: Teemo!
Teemo: Hey, I have a point you gotta admit!
Rakan: Look, I ain't saying that my mood is always gonna be perfect. I currently lack a home, the music in the magic, the magic, and my girl. Speaking of who, does Xayah know about this?
I immediately avert my eyes, knowing she hasn't got a clue and will more than likely try to kill us if we go back to Ionia.
Kai'sa: It's unlikely. We don't really know what happens when we're pulled from the game. All we know is that we are here and we are free, mostly.
Rakan: Mostly?
Kai'sa: This world is foreign to us as we are to it. If people saw us and pushed through this... cosplaying thing, I think that's what it was called, they would do any number of things to us.
Teemo: Most of them would probably be bad. Luckily, we've been safe from the Government that runs this place.
Rakan: The gover-what now?
While Teemo got into explaining the government in his own way, I immediately turned my attention to the sound of a closing door. Naturally, I excused myself and met Lydia halfway up the stairs.
