"Can I be excused?" Soyeon asks, pushing her finished plate away from herself.
"Why?" Soojin pauses her conversation with Minnie.
"I want to be alone," Soyeon sighs, the group's excitable banter and Haku and Mata circling the table waiting for one of them to drop some food was starting to get too much for her.
"Sure," Soojin waves her off, resuming her conversation.
Yuqi suddenly stood up. "I want to be alone too!" She rushes to put hers and Soyeon's plates in the sink, almost tripping in the process. She wraps her arm around Soyeon's middle affectionately. "We can be alone together!!"
Soyeon rolls her eyes, knowing that she can't argue without breaking the younger's heart somehow.
