The Morgan's went home later that morning after Arthur and Amelia got rid of their hangovers. They rode slowly, enjoying the scenery, but also so Amelia and Arthur's headaches didn't get any worse. Erika spurred Sapphire so she could ride next to her father. She smiled over at him as he glanced over with a raised brow.

"What you smiling at?" He asked with a sigh.

Erika chuckled. "Nothin," she grinned, "just the fact that everyone got drunk last night."

"We got drunk because of you two." Amelia retorted.

"We didn't force you to get drunk." Nick looked up at her.

"Like hell you didn't." Arthur pulled back on Dove's reins. "Just you two goin out alone pushed us to drink."

"You're the one who let us in the first place!" Erika said with a laugh.

"Starting to regret that choice." Amelia rubbed her temples.

Nick laughed, Erika joining in. Arthur groaned in agony as they continued making their way home. Along the way, the two kids decided to go hunting so they could have a little bit to eat for the way home. Nick did the shooting while Erika grabbed some herbs.

She was walking around the forest and saw some wild ginger and mint. She remembered what her Uncle Charles had told her about herbs that tend to help with hangovers. She picked some and placed them in a small fabric she took from her fathers saddle on Dove. She wrapped the herbs and continued looking around for seasoning herbs.

Once she returned to her small family, they cooked and garnished the meat before heading back on their way. Before they left, Erika walked over to her parents and held out the small sack of herbs.

"Here." She handed it to her mother.

Amelia looked down at it. "What is this?"

"Ginger and mint. It'll help with the hangovers." She climbed back up on Sapphire and waited patiently.

"How do you know?" Arthur asked as Amelia handed him some ginger and mint.

"Uncle Charles told me." She leaned against her saddle and watched as they chewed the pieces.

The next morning was decently slow for the Morgan's. Arthur was the first one awake, slowly getting ready for the day in iritation at his early morning wake up call. Erika followed her father about ten minutes later, happily awake with a bright smile as she joined her father in the kitchen. She walked over to her father as he sipped a cup of coffee.

"Feeling any better?" She asked with a smirk.

Arthur shrugged. "A little."

Erika snickered. She sat down across the table from her father and smiled as she cupped her cheeks in her small hands. Arthur looked at her skeptically. "What are you so giddy about, Miss Morgan?"

Erika chuckled a little bit. "I dreamed about Luke."

Arthur groaned. "It is too early, Erika."

Erika sneered at her father. "It was sweet, daddy."

"And I'm still tryin to wake up. So give me a few minutes before you start getting all corny about your boyfriend."

Erika slouched back in the chair. Arthur smirked as he took another sip of his coffee. "Why don't you go check on the horses? Make sure they're ready for anyone who shows up."

"Which ones should I bring out to the pens?"

"Beauty, Saline, Nova, Whiskey, and Zayn." He took another sip of his coffee. "I'll be out in a minute to help you."
