Later on that day I got home from Downtown Toronto when I decided to see if I missed any texts; which I naturally did
Shawn: "so glad I told you to put your account on private. Go look at what I'm tagged in" I quickly look at Instagram and sees all posts of what Shawn wrote on my page.
"Who dis?" "Omg a new girl" "wait who is she? She's private!" "Ugh she's private." "I'm glad she's private; keep it that way Shawn" "if he didn't care about her she wouldn't be private" "Callie? That's a pretty name!" I quickly gets overwhelmed and decide to call Shawn
Me: "okay I know I'm one of them but Shawn your fans are crazy!" He chuckles over the phone
Shawn: "They are so fast at finding things. I'm sorry about all that I totally understand if you don't want to be frie-"
Me: "WHAT! No! God Shawn I was just shocked! Your literally one of the best friends I have. This isn't going to make me stop being your friend"
Shawn: "oh thank god. But it's just every time I'm either spotted with a girl or commenting everyone thinks I'm dating that girl. Like Camila Cabello, Halliee Steinfield, Sabrina Carpenter. I just don't want you to be overwhelmed."
Me: "well I better get used to RUMORS!" He chuckles and I decide to change the subject
Shawn: "wait hold up! You said one of your best friends"
Me: "yeah so?"
Shawn: "I better be the only best friend" he looks at me funny
Me: "oh my god Shawn. Okay I'm sorry let me re-say it"
Shawn: "good cause I'm hurt Callie" I laugh and shake my head
Me: "Shawn Mendes is my ONE AND ONLY BEST FRIEND!" He laughs while recording it
Shawn: "I'm making that your ringtone" I start to laugh hysterically
