People who tell me that Canada doesn't get hot in summer are fucking liars. I've been a little bit on the bored side and know that Callie can't hang out because her friend from America is over; so I decide to hang with Brian, Matt, and Ian. As I drive to Ian's house, while Brian and I start to talk about random things
Brain: "OH! Did you ever find that girl that you bumped into?" I chuckle while driving and nod
Me: "yeah! She is literally one of the coolest people ever!"
Brian: "what's her name??"
Me: "Callie. It's weird how I've known her for a little over a month and we're best friends" Brian looks at me with the "yeah right" look
Me: "no im serious!"
Brian: "do you think it's weird that shes a fan?" I look over at him as I go down Matt's street
Me: "I totally forgot about that. SEE! We don't talk about my career! We talk about fun shit! I don't consider her a fan. I mean she's like you guys, supporters. Honestly I always forget that she was a fan."
Brian: "alright so your telling me that she's not some crazy fan just trying to get famous?"
Me: "that's exactly what I'm saying."
Brain: "alright alright I believe you. Just trying to protect you."
Me: "I know. But I'm telling you, she's good no matter a fact she's great."
Brain: "Callie is becoming one of us. Dude is she coming to the Canada day block party?"
Me: "that's literally 3 months away!
Brain: "yeah but she should still come!" As Brian says that Ian jumps in my car
Ian: "WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT!"
Brain: "Shawn's new friend"
Ian: "oh that girl dude what's her name?"
Me: "Callie."
Brain: "should Shawn bring Callie to the block party?"
Ian: "fuck yeah! I mean whatever you are friends or more bring her!"
Me: "we're just friends guys! Lauren and I just broke up and I don't need a girlfriend I need a-"
Ian: "friend that happens to be a girl" I look back at him
Me: "exactly"
