I'm about to get in my car, when I wave to Shawn goodbye
Shawn: "so I'll pick you up tomorrow?" Scratching his head nervously
Me: "yeah that's great! What time?" His head pops up from staring at the ground and smiles
Shawn: "how does 7 sound?" I smile at him
Me: "I'll see you at 7 tomorrow" we exchange smiles and I head into my car and start to drive back home.
As I enter my house I hear my phone going off
Me: "hello?" Not seeing the caller ID once again
Lisa: "hey! I've been trying to call you all day! What have you been doing!?"
Me: "uh well I was hanging out with Shawn" I hear her gasp and I let out a sigh because I know she's going to start screaming
Lisa: "WHAT DID HE SAY! what happened? What did you talk about? So are you guys a thing now?" I start to be overwhelmed my all of the questions
Me: "slow the hell down! We talked about normal things-" I hear a sad sigh "-hold on let me finish, he said he was nervous, and I quote likes me but he was-" I get cut off from Lisa screaming yet again
Lisa: "WAIT THE SHAWN MENDES LIKES YOU!?" I start to laugh out loud
Me: "okay easy tiger, I'm excited too, but I have to pick an outifit for the block party" heading to my closet
Lisa: "wait your going to THE block party who invi- NO SHAWN INVITED YOU?" I let out a laugh
Me: "yes. But seriously what do I wear?" Sounding aggravated.
Lisa: "wear all red and white. Go big or go home! So be decked out in Canada stuff."
Me: "wow Callie takes on patriotic!" Still looking at my closet and hear Lisa laugh
Lisa: "hey! Its hot to see a girl that loves her country!" Saying in defense
Me: " alright I'll see you tomorrow then?"
Lisa: "yep!" I hang up and let out a groan
Me: "fuck it! I'll figure it out tomorrow!" Heading downstairs
