Callie POV
I step outside of my house and look back at total disgust. I walk getting closer and closer to Shawn. I see a worried look plaster on his face and he comes closer to me.
He places his hands on each side of my face and I look at him
Shawn: "what happened love? Hmm" Wiping my stray tear off my face.
Me: "he didn't even deny it. He just said 'I wanted to protect you' and 'I thought you moved on' god I just- can we go" I say with anger evident in my voice. Shawn nods and pulls me into his chest.
He eventually pulls my face from his chest and kisses me sweetly.
We leave my house and he drives around town when he stops in front of his house.
Shawn: "listen I know you have a lot going on but I want you to meet my family. Because I consider you family and love you. A lot." A smile spreads across my face and and lean over the console and kiss him sweetly.
We enter his childhood home and it smells like a mix between vanilla and fresh laundry. Shawn's hands wrap around my waist; his chin resting on my shoulder and kisses my neck
Shawn: "this is my home away from home" I turn my head and look confused
Shawn: "you're my home." I smile like a little kid and hug him tightly showing him that I feel the same.
I hear a girl calling from the kitchen and look behind me seeing a young teenage girl.
Shawn: "hey Aaliyah" Her mouth flies open and points while jumping
Aaliyah: "Is this who I think?" I see Shawn's head nod and smile
Aaliyah: "MUM MUM SHE'S HERE THIS IS NOT A DRILL" I look up at shawn and laugh
Shawn: "oh god dont- hey mum" Seeig his mum come into the room; her face went from confused to extremely happy
Shawn's mom: "oh my god hi callie." She comes over and hugs me tightly
Shawn's mom: "I'm Karen. So you're the one that makes him happy and crazy?" I nod my head and laugh.
Aaliyah: "he talks about you literally all the time. Every day"
Shawn: "Aaliyah" He groans and I lean up and whisper
Me: "don't worry babe I talk about you all the time too"
