About a week later Shawn and I haven't stopped DMing each other. It's crazy the first day it was "OH MY GOD IM DMIMG SHAWN!"
Now it's like "oh I'm talking to my friend"
Today I am walking around a store deciding what I want for my dorm room at Toronto University when I get yet another dm from Shawn:
"Oh my god that's funny! Lol I need to talk to you. It's kinda important" while walking down the aisle my heart starts to race
Me:
"Yes, shoot" my heart starts to race and I get a response right away
Shawn:
"I don't want to dm anymore"
I read that and my heart sinks then I see another dm
"I want to text you." As soon as I read that my jaw flew open.
Terrie: "what the hell is up with you?" Looking at me while going down the comforter aisle
Me: "huh? Oh nothing" I stutter and type my number fast.
I see he has read it and right away I get a text
Unknown: "Hey who is this?" I smile
Me: "you tell me you texted me first" knowing its Shawn
Unknown: "smart person! But what if your not the person I'm looking for? Are you Callie?"
I laugh
Me: "yes lol"
Unknown: "I don't believe you. Send me a picture of you in the bathroom holding a spoon of peanut butter while also holding a muffin!" I hysterically laugh
Me: "but I'm in bed bath and beyond. 😂"
Unknown: "well go to a desk, stand on it and hold above your head a desk chair" I laugh even harder. I pull my dad with me
Me: "here take a picture of me" I stand on the desk and hold the chair above my head
Dad: "you are my child" I laugh and my dad takes the picture
Me: "okay catch me" I jump off and my dad catches me
I quickly send the picture and I immediately get a text back
Unknown: "oh my god you actually did it. And it's Shawn"
Me: "just know I got a lot of states"
Shawn: "😂😂 solid gold. Why are you in bed bath and beyond anyway?"
Me: "college! Dorm shopping!"
Shawn and I continue to talk about random things.
--honestly I thought the whole desk this was fucking hilarious.
