COVER : 10/10

The cover is simple and also beautiful. I love the fact that it's has a black concept to it, it kind of adds a bit of mystery to the book and the picture on the cover says it all.

TITLE : 10/10

The title lls the whole story on its own.

BLURB : 5/10

The blurb doesn't exactly give any detail on the book per say but it's still really captivating and raises a bit of curiosity to know what the book is about BUT it should be rated Matured because it has some kind of suicidal trigger to it and it has the tendency to give someone a depressive state of mind so please and please put his in the blurb so people who are sensitive to this type of stuff can avoid it.

• CREATIVITY : 10/10

The creativity in this book is genius. As I was reading through I kept thinking "How can anyone think of this?". The way the author used his words to express his thought is really mind blowing. I could feel each emotions the protagonist was going through, I didn't just read the book, I experienced it, I could really connect with his emotions and his thoughts.
Another fact I like about the book is that the concept is based on reality. The whole book is based on what really happens in reality, and these are things people try to avoid. I love the fact that it is not cliche and it not just another book with a happy ending.

PLOT : 15/15

The plot development is nice. I love the way each chapter explores a different part in Jake's life. I also loved that you included an element of his past in the book, we get to see the way he transit into the he that he is or should I say into the he that he was. There are just 11 chapters and the author still managed to pull it off.

CHARACTER : 10/10

The characters are well drafted, from Jake to his sister and his father and his mother. I love the mystery behind 'Calum's house' like I wouldn't exactly say Calum is a character but I love the mystery behind it.
I love the way the characters were built. It so easy to feel their emotions especially Jake's. I could really feel his anxiety, his pain, his sadness, his loneliness. I could connect with everyone of them and even though there was no physical portrait of the characters, it was really easy for me to form an image of them in my mind.

GRAMMAR : 15/15

I didn't check the grammar as I was reading because I was so engrossed in the book and I had to read it again LOL: )
The grammar is flawless.

COMMUNICATION : 3/5

I would not exactly say all comments or questions were replied.

OVERALL IMPRESSION : 15/15

Overall, this book is really impressive. It has just 11 chapters but trust me those 11 short chapters are magical. It's interesting, it's short,it's exciting, it's emotional, it's everything you need if you are looking for a sad, depressing book to read. This book is so filled with emotions it makes me want to burst but please if you are sensitive to sad, depressing stuff don't read it!
