When the pressure started to spread all over the stage some participants started sweating profusely, it didn't take long before they started trembling. After ten minutes the pressure keeps increasing and some participants started collapsing.

"what? Those little brats are still standing still?" the spectators were stupefied as they look on incredulously, they even blink a few times as if they were just dreaming.

"am I seeing things?" one of them rubbed his eyes.

Yu Hua's eyes shone, though her heart aches a little for them too.

Yu Yue curled her lips as she observed everyone's expression, she smiled playfully as she witnessed the five great sect's sect master's expression turn sour as they eyed each other meaningfully.

Even though the little assassins showed pale faces they were still conscious and just shaking a little. They were able to resist the pressure, compared to the disciples from other sects it could be said that their mental age is more than twice their age as they stayed and cultivate inside the space since they entered Y u manor.

After another hour the pressure was lifted and there are only less than half of the participants remaining who passed the first round. All of the little assassins passed this round with gritted teeth, three of them collapse after the pressure was lifted. Even though their bodies were trembling and blood oozed out of their mouths they have proud smiles. Yu Yue's heartache for them as she quickly went up the stage with the others to take care of them.

The next round it was little  Yu Si, Yu Er, Yu San, and Yu Yi's turn together with the other six little assassins. This round the pressure increased faster and two of the little assassins almost collapse, Yu Yue frowned as she watched the participants falling one after another to the ground when it was not even ten minutes yet. The pressure also keeps getting stronger and stronger.

She sneered in her heart, she could tell someone is trying to put them at a disadvantage in this round knowing that they didn't reach the quota. She could already tell that the third and fourth rounds would be the same. Yu Hua'er gnashed her teeth, she also noticed but she couldn't say a word because it is still considered fair as long as it's not affecting just their participants.

'why are they especially targeting us?' Yu Yue asked lightly with a frown through their flame fireflies.

'We are also not quite clear about that, but Xing Yi reported that he saw from afar the third elder and the second young lady of the Liu clan. I think it must be related to this' she replied thoughtfully.

'oh, what are they currently busy with down here?' Yu Yue raised her brows.

'Liu clan is well versed with arrays, especially the third elder and their second young lady is also well versed in alchemy. I think it has something to do with that.' she replied with a dark expression, Yu Yue glanced at her clenched hands.

She already heard from Xing Yi and Xing Er what happened back then in the middle realm and why they're currently in the lower realm.
