Tommy POV

Tommy opened his eyes, glancing over at his blaring alarm clock. With a swift movement, he shut it off and jumped out of bed. It was Saturday, the best day of the week in his opinion. It was the one day of the week where all of his friends were online. 

They always made an effort to take the day off and just talk to each other. No cameras, no streams, just friends hanging out and laughing. It was by far, Tommy's favorite day.

Tommy quickly got dressed, pulling on his signature red outfit before heading downstairs. There was a certain bounce in his step that had been absent before. He entered the kitchen with a bright smile on his face.

"Good morning!" Motherinnit greeted, pleased to see her son in high spirits.

Tommy kissed her on the cheek like he always did before sitting at the table. "Good morning Mom."

She chuckled, placing a plate of eggs in front of him. She turned back towards the stove, intending on making more eggs for her husband. He was always the last one up, much to her amusement. "What are your plans for today?"

"Just playing with the boys." he grinned, earning a laugh.

"You'll still have time to go on our adventure, right?" she raised an eyebrow in amusement. She was glad her son had such great friends. It made her heart swell.

The blonde nodded, "Of course Mom. I always have time for our adventures!" He continued enjoying his eggs, enjoying every bite. They waited for a few minutes, waiting for the arrival of the last member of their family.

A moment later, the awaited figure came into view. He headed towards the table, ruffling Tommy's hair before kissing his wife. "Good morning!" he announced as Motherinnit placed another plate of eggs in front of him.

"Good morning dear." She sat beside him, eating her own breakfast.

"Morning Dad." Tommy replied, his mouth full.

Motherinnit immediately scowled him, believing in the importance of manners. "Don't talk with your mouthful Tommy!" The blonde rolled his eyes playfully, hiding a smile. She sent him a stern look, but Tommy could spot the humor behind her eyes. She turned to Fatherinnit. "You ready for our trip?"

The man groaned dramatically, exchanging a pleading look with Tommy. "Do I have to?" he pouted, exactly like a child.

"Yes." she left no room for argument. "We're getting that thing, remember?"

Tommy snapped up at her words, his own curiosity teasing him. "What thing?"

Motherinnit smiled sweetly, shaking her head. "You'll know soon enough."

"But-" he began to protest, but he was cut off by his own father's confusion.

Fatherinnit looked as confused as Tommy. "What thing?"

The woman groaned. They had talked about this yesterday, she was sure of it. How did he always forget? "Do not remember our conversation last night?" she asked, trying to hide the smile on her face.

"I-we- what conversation did we have last night?" he repeated, a look of bewilderment masking his face. Whether or not he was pretending, it was entertainment for Tommy.

He loved his parents more than anything. His phone vibrated in his pocket, indicating that people were joining the discord call. Pushing his back, he put his dishes in the sink before heading towards her room. "I'm going to go play with my friends!" he called.

"Say hi to them for us!" his mother's voice rang clear.

Tommy spun his chair towards his monitor, still unable to wipe the smile from his face. He had waited all week for this. Hanging out with his best friends made the wait worth it.

He hoped his life would never change.
