Ranboo POV

Ranboo sprinted down the sidewalk, heading towards their meeting spot. It was the old place Tommy had shown them. It had always been their secret place, somewhere only they knew or cared to know about.

So when Ranboo finally came in view of the roof, he stopped abruptly. Relief came first at the sight of Tommy. But confusion quickly pushed away the emotion. What was Techno doing here? Tommy had always made it clear that he didn't want his siblings knowing about this place. He wanted one place where he wasn't in his brother's shadows. So why was Techno there? What changed? Especially since the previous night.

Ranboo made his way to the roof, carefully sliding open the window and climbing up. Tommy turned his head towards him, a small smile emerging on his face. "Hey Ranboo."

"Hey Toms." the brunette waved, adding, "I was really worried about you. Why didn't you return any of my texts or calls?" He slid in beside Tommy, glancing slightly at the blonde.

Tommy sighed, "Sorry about that. I got my phone taken away." He turned towards Techno, exchanging a look. The older nodded, encouraging him to continue. "Phil found out about me smoking."

"What? How?" Ranboo exclaimed, knowing Tommy had been extra careful to hide it.

"I told him."

Ranboo stared at him, trying to decide if he had heard him right. "You told him? Why?"

"Techno convinced me that I don't need to smoke anymore. So I've decided to quit. And Phil is going to help me with that." Tommy smiled, staring up into the night sky. He moved closer to Techno, grinning even wider when the older wrapped an arm around him.

"That's good to hear Toms." Ranboo glanced at Techno, still unsure about him. Sitting up, he stared directly at the pinkette. "Say something that horrible about my best friend ever again and I will track you down and kill you."

Techno raised an eyebrow, generally surprised by the threat. "I didn't mean any of the stuff I said and Tommy knows that. I would never want to hurt my brother like that again." he promised, meaning every word he said.

Ranboo studied him for a moment before laying down again. He couldn't help but feel the relief wash through his body. Tommy was okay. He was happy and that's all that mattered.

The window creaked beside him as Tubbo climbed onto the roof, gasping for breath. "So-sorry I'm late!" he exclaimed, stopping when he caught sight of Tommy. He immediately tackled the boy in a hug, lighting up at the sight of his best friend. "Tommy!"

Tommy yelled in surprise, quickly hugging back with a bright smile on his face. "Oh hey Tubs!"

"You scared us half to death!" Tubbo shouted, still not letting go of the boy. "Please don't do that again!" he begged, not sure if he could take it again.

"I promise." Tommy laughed.

Tubbo reluctantly let go, forcing Ranboo to move over before laying beside Tommy. Ranboo huffed in annoyance, trying to hide his smile.

Tubbo sat up, suddenly noticing Techno. "What are you doing here?"

"Tubbo-" Tommy began.

"I can't believe-"

"Tubbo!" Tommy shouted, grabbing Tubbo by the shoulder. "We made up, okay? Let it go." 

The brunette glared at Techno, before finally laying back down. "Give the word and I'll murder him." he muttered, only to be elbowed by Tommy.

Techno couldn't help but chuckle, smiling at the blonde. "I'm glad you have protective friends Toms. It's good to know you'll be protected when I'm not around."

Tommy grinned back, glad his brother approved. Not that it really mattered, because he would have stayed friends with them either way. But approval still felt good. He thought for a moment before an idea struck him. "We should bring all our siblings up here."

Ranboo glanced at him, immediately raising an eyebrow. Didn't that contradict their rule of it being their meeting place? The point was to stay out of their siblings' shadows. "I thought it was our meeting place."

"But wouldn't it be fun for just one night?" Tommy asked, his eyes brighter than Ranboo had ever seen before. 

Ranboo opened his mouth to respond, but Tubbo beat him to it. "Everyone will know..."

"Well Tommy wasn't the one who discovered this place. Wil and I were actually the ones who brought him here." Techno interrupted, exchanging a look with Tommy.

"Exactly. Besides, it would just be our family."

Ranboo sighed, finally agreeing. "Fine."

Maybe this would be fun.
