Tommy POV

"Dude I can't!" Tommy repeated, gripping his phone a little tighter. His friends were relentless, trying everything they could think of to make him say yes. But he couldn't, even if he wanted to. He had made plans with his best friend and he wasn't about to turn that down. Especially since they hadn't been able to hangout in months.

"But it's going to be awesome dude!" his friend exclaimed. "Schlatt bought drinks for everyone! We can literally drink all night! Doesn't that sound like fun?"

The blonde rolled his eyes, ignoring the pit that grew in his stomach. He wasn't even old enough to drink yet. And if his brothers found out... He would get killed. "I already told you, I've got plans with Tubbo."

A snicker passed through the phone. "Isn't that what you said last time? When are you going to realize that he will always bail on you?"

Tommy paused, shaking his head. He always took what his friend said with a grain of salt. But somehow he found that he couldn't deny it. Sighing, he spoke up, "Not this time. We've been planning this for over a week."

"Whatever." he could practically see him rolling his eyes. "Well the party starts at ten." His tone grew more defensive. "And don't you dare tell either of your brothers about this. We don't need to deal with that again."

The blonde bit his lip, embarrassment flooding in his cheeks. He knew exactly what he was referring to. A few weeks back Tommy had gone to the same party. It had been fun at first but things had quickly gone south. Growing more and more uncomfortable, Tommy had called his older brothers. Problem was, they were super over protective. They charged into the party and saved him. And they made sure everyone learned their lesson for messing with their little brother.

Tommy was surprised he was even invited to a party after that. Parties were boring without him. After all, he was the life of the party. Between his humor and chaos, he made everything a lot more fun.

Shaking his head, he quickly agreed, "I won't." As long as things didn't get weird again, he added silently.

"See you there-"

"I probably won't be there." Tommy replied, still sticking to original plan.

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that." The phone hung up, leaving the blonde in his own thoughts.

Tommy ran a hand through his hair, tossing his phone on the bed. He could only hope that Tubbo did keep his word. He enjoyed parties, sure. But he liked his best friend more. Besides, he hated lying to Wilbur and Techno.

As if right on cue, a knock came from his door. "Toms, when is Tubbo coming?" Wilbur's voice drifted through the door, still as warm as ever. Tommy always felt so connected to him, like Wilbur would never judge him. With everything changing all the time, it was nice to have that.

"I'm not sure! Let me call him!" Tommy called back, chuckling as he picked up his phone again. He ignored the millions of texts from people, demanding that he show his face at the party. Instead he scrolled through his contacts, stopping at his best friend's.

Taking a deep breath, he pressed call.
